Maybe you could try a Highlander limit (one of each card). Since you always have the extra deck in Yu Gi Oh, maybe restrict it to 3 or 5 to increase variance
Do more. And I would bring other guests just for added surprise even though it is a house tournament. Would be cool mostly because it would spice things up and have different atmosphere too.
Hey! Something I think would be really fun would be another tournament where all the players play different character decks from the game Yugioh Nightmare Troubadour. And with the amount of characters and decks, you guys could even bring in other creators to the tournament. Either way more tournaments and gameplay is always interesting to watch lol

Its always fun watching Trell be in a tight spot; the man searches through the field, the grave, banished, under the table, the deck list, just about every where tryna find that out and im here for it
yeah he's a awesome duelist tho he did missplay in opponents favor the roid field spell swaps original atk and def so Subroids EFF to always do original atk will make the damage 1800 not 800 this was a meta in duel links.

You boys look like you have so much more fun than at an actual tourney because you play with formats and such that aren't widely used. And use the cards in the pack.

In the duel where Power Bond was used incorrectly, there was also a mistake about the interaction between Submarineroid and Small Roid Big City. As Trell noted, Submarineroid's damage is its original attack regardless of modifiers. However, the skill actually switches "the original ATK and DEF", not just their values. For the duration of the attack, 1800 is the "original" ATK. That would have left Alec's life 1000 lower, enough that a direct attack from Stealth Union would have finished the duel anyway.
regardless super drill with 6000 atk attacking into the dragon with 2100 atk results in 3900 damage which still results in a win regardless of the mis play the result would have been the same

@@drizzt04 31:04 sadly you can not summon Steam gyroid with Vehicroid connection zone because the card say that you summon a "vehicroid" fusion so you can only summon the 3 super vehicroid fusion with it...
i'm sad the deck does not have super vehicroid mobile base, it's one of the best vehicroid and it allow to create a loop with ambulanceroid and expressroid to summon 2 roid every turn

Love seeing Trell put in work! Paul is a class act. Larry, still surprising us with Hero fusions and Alec showing us the might of Bastion's H20 Deck!!
So since the begining of the teams videos I've picked up on something. In the beginning the energy they gave was what seemed to be of a nervous variety. And onward, they look to be more comfortable with being behind the lense, more vocal and proud in what they decide to put out.
The road they've walked on this channel is a phenomenal one in terms milestones of channels coming up in popularity.

I actually love products like this, being able to get together with some friends and have easy old school duels is the best..lol, a lot easier than trying to teach everyone about Links and such.
I love it when all the guys are together. The tournament series are some of my favorite videos. Team APS really makes me love and appreciate Yugi-oh. Konami show these guys some more love.
The best part of this video is that it's movie length so it's bloody perfect to enjoy with a snack and cool drink. I hope you do more of these. The WWE-esque Duelist jumbotrons showing who was facing off just added to the excitement and thrills in this one!

It's been 16 years since I've played and only recently gotten back into collecting a little and binging your guys content. I really appreciated the quick animation and explain for speed Duels for an old man like me

I get that Rare Hunters is kind of a thing to set up ($$$), but imagine what a Rare Hunters series would look like with four guys. There'd be a real crazy dynamic of picking your targets to get the rare cards you want, and everyone doing it at the same time ... this video was awesome and really shows what makes Team APS Team APS.
Great videos! A tip to elevate the production to the next level; use the screen recording feature of the phone with the life tracking application so that you dont need to record it from above and can instead have the life tracking video be picture in picture on the screen, a bonus is that it should also get the audio aswell so it will come out clearer aswell

As someone who ran a Hero/Hydro deck back in the day, seeing both the Heroes and the Water Dragons get screen time and appreciation makes my soul warm. Thanks, guys. I know I'm late to the party, but this was exactly what I needed today.
I got 3 of the original gx speed duel boxes and my wife didn't like the 20 card play style so we just made 40 card decks and played with normal rules. Fun stuff
This was so fun! This is what Yugioh is all about! I wish Konami would do a TCG version of this with 2-4 structure decks in a bundle plus some chase Gacha pack for rarity bumps.
FYI, you can't use Mixeroid to special summon Gyroid because it's a Wind attribute. Also Vehicroid Connection Zone can only fusion summon Super Vehicroids, so Steam Gyroid wouldn't have worked.
I absolutely love yall's videos. I don't play much any more because of the new yugioh but I really love watching the older decks.

Imo the mistake with the skill didn't change the outcome, Trell couldn't attack directly with "super vehicroid jumbo drill", but If he had known he would have just attack Hyozanryu with 6000 over 2100 so it would have been game anyway 😜

Love this guys. I hope you make it a regular series. With no new Duel Nigh Episodes I jumped at the chance to watch this
The powerbond misplay by trell didn't matter too much, since the jumbo drill attacking the Hyozanru wouldve just been game anyway, and even then it doesn't prevent OTHER monsters from attacking directly, so even if it wasnt game, the stealth union could still finish up Alec. All in all, great episode. Trell piloting the Roid deck really makes me want to try it out myself. It looks so coool.
Edit: that belt looks so dope, and looks even better on Trells shoulder, LETS GOOOOO

I have never played Yu-Gi-Oh and have absolutely no idea what is happening. My Magic: The Gathering braing is thoroughly confused. But entertaining video none the less. Kinda wanna learn how to play now.
Trell won me over this duel. Even his fusion card got eliminated he still had a backup plan. Trell didn't lose any round was constantly searching his grave and extra deck for a way to win.

GAME OOOOON GETCHA GAME OOOOON! (GX is the best arc. Idc what people say, the decks are awesome. Roids are the coolest looking cards. Elemental heroes (OG ones) are such a classic fusion introduction.
Not sure if anyone pointed it out yet, but Mixeroid's effect cannot be used to SP-Summon a Gyroid as it specifically states the target needs to be 1 non-WIND "roid" monster.
i really wanna see everyone in team APS go all out and use their best decks or favorite decks and see who wins. i think that would be really fun

Can we have a future episode of rare hunters with trell being another rare hunter? Like, if he has any cards from those sets (the ones you open to that point) in his personal collection, he could use them to make a deck with. Other than that, using the left overs maybe? Idk of Trell likes pack openings or not but having him be a "boss" rare hunter, and coming in with the belt would be cool. He puts no cards in the line but puts the belt instead, while the boys offer up their rare card as normal. Maybe even buy 2 boxes (if feasible) and split both boxes 3 ways?
