Their government is simply disincentive ownership of older cars. In order to force people to buy new cars, to prop up Japan’s automakers.

That JZX90 Cresta is actually the old TRAUM Cresta, was at TAS in 2001 I think it was. And the GC8 you thought was a Chaser, it's because they have JZX100 Chaser headlights on it. There are a few of the guys who drift like GC8's and so on that run those headlights and yes the green one gets drifted abit.

Sam! The 3rd Gen BH liberty/legacy/outback is an amazing platform for a quick awd daily build, most 02-07 WRX STI parts bolt right up, and in Japan you can get them twin turbo from factory, rare setup for subarus. There's quite a big community of people with them in Canada

For 12 years I use to own a WRX STi in blue 2004 model. Sold it 3 years ago and upgraded to a GTR 34 V-Spec and a 1998 twin turbo Supra. They are my toys now.

Cars cheap in Japan, but when imported from there to the US after the 25 years of wait time those prices will sky rocket. That is a golden opportunity for all those car dealers selling JDM cars. And I bet they cannot wait until that time.
