Personally, I think that Lego Dimensions was a great idea because it is a relatively cheap way to get great minifigures and LEGO builds. Even if you don't want the game, you can still buy the expansion packs just to have for fun.
Do showcases for all of the characters and vehicles after you have 100% completed the game in this format. One video showcases The Twelfth Doctor and the vehicles that come in his expansion pack.
