wait, am i mistaken or wasn't it 16? or maybe it was something like "the age is 18 but if the parents want, the girl can debut in society before her 18th"?
@@ItsTella_ the books and show aged that up a bit to match contemporary accepted practices. Example: Daphne was 21 in Season 1 but in “real history” that would have been a bit old to debut
Penelope's tall sister, Prudence, is played by Bessie Carter, the daughter of Jim Carter, the butler on _Downton Abbey,_ and Imelda Staunton, whom you probably know best as Umbridge in Harry Potter. They both appeared in _Shakespeare in Love,_ with Staunton playing Viola's nurse and Carter playing an actor who plays Juliet's nurse in the first stage production of "Romeo and Juliet."
I don't understand where you could have got the idea she is 14. She is 19. Kate was 6 when her father married Lady Mary and Edwina was born the next year. Possibly still 18.
That would make her 20, well, depending on when in the year their birthdays are, I suppose. I think Edwina flat out states her age at some point, though (I thought 17). But definitely not 14.
@@HuntingViolets Kate was 6 when her father married Mary so 7 the next year when Edwina was born ... That makes Edwina no more than 19 - possibly still 18. 26 - 7 = 19. Simple 😀

You two are so fun. I can't wait to watch you react to the rest of the season. Kate and Anthony are my favorite Bridgerton characters and this season is a twisty ride.
Cousin marriage was not that unusual at this time, and I think he's rather a distant cousin anyway, although I don't know why he'd be interested in any of these girls.
Loved your reaction! 😊 The framing of the show inside the oval shape, though, was a bit odd, sometimes it cropped the heads of the characters. I don't know if it was supposed to be like that, and if it was, nevermind. 😅
I don't think Anthony was sabotaging his dates. He just simply put in his mind that love is for the weak ones (he was scared actually) and him as the leader of the house should simply follow a logical checklist of what a good wife should be like. No feelings at all.
So funny, I'd just rewatched it WHILE I was checking out Season 3, wish I'd known & followed along with you guys. Haven't kept up with your rewatches since Charlotte & Succession. Enjoyed your reactions as usual. Will you watch Season 3 too? Hope so.
Penelope's villain origin story. I don't know; I think that printer is doing more physical labor than Penelope. She was so rude to this working class man.
This is my absolute fave Bridgerton series so far, so many nods to one of the greatest stories of all time - Pride & Prejudice.
Omg yall gon LOVE this season. My favorite in the Bridgerton universe imo
We're so happy to finally be catchig up. We thank you for spending your time with us.
So much intrigue this season! I so enjoy this reaction!
this is peakkkk
To me Queen Charlotte is the best but I love this season too
Edwina is 18, not 14. One can't debut in society before 18.

Penelope was 17 in season 1, so was Eloise but her mom ALLOWED her to skip that year, that she was supposed to debut

I love how she went from elegance by telling him that her name is Lady. And then went hood and said put some respect on her name homie. 😂😂😂😂
😂🤣
Excuse me good sir, but thine name rings out in these streets.
Finally!!!! You guys are in for a treat. Happy to experience this with you! 🤎🤎🤎
It's been a long time coming for this one. Thanks for checking us out.

@@alixc1855 I read that too quickly, I think. :)
I don't think Edwina is 14. I think she's meant to be 18 years old.
She is 17 in the books.
Yes, she is 18 in the show.
But she looks like s child. Imagine her with Anthony...yikes
@@jk-ln9wu that was literally during the 19th century
Yess!!! I love this season, kate and anthony are my favorite couple, I'm still not over them❤
Edwina is actually 18 or 19 years old in the show

So much nonverbal communication this season 😍

Can't wait for you to keep watching S2 ❤ hands down my favourite bridgerton story 😍🥰
Finally! This is my favorites just ahead of Queen Charlotte❤😊 Great reaction 😊
It's been a long time coming for this season. Thanks for sticking around with us.
I sooo love your reactions to Bridgerton. I have rewatched your queens Charlotte videos many times. The best youtube reaction to that show
S2 is better than s1!
I read the books a while ago. But Shonda took this to a whole new level. 😂
I'm digging this reaction. I'm greatly going to enjoy this series with you two 💯
Queen Charlotte is my favorite season, but this is my 2nd favorite season.
LOL...Not the 'Jet Magazine' reference. 😆🤣😂
TH-cam algorithm needs to do a better job at recommendations because i had to come to your channel on a whim to see this 😊❤ love your reactions!!
Thank you for reacting I enjoying this season but I can’t wait for your reactions to season 3 for my favorite couple ❤ ❤.
Anthony wants to find a woman who will take care of things. He doesn't care about finding love.
I wish you record your reaction to Daphne and Simon’s season… But am also very excited for Kate and Anthony too…
We loved that season. I hate that we didn't react to that one first but our channel wasn't up and running when we watched season 1.
@@Syntell You could do a rewatch down the line (although I realize that's unlikely as your plate is pretty full).

Queen Charlotte is my favorite season. Season 2 was just ok. I really enjoy your reviews and opinions on your reactions.👏👏👏

Yes girl, drag Penelope.

Not gone lie this S2 was good but it wasn’t my fave. Hope you guys enjoy!!!
Penelope enjoys insulting people in her blog way too much.
You can do rewatch reactions of season one someday (if you want). Anyway, here we go.
Daphne was anointed a diamond by Lady Whistledown, not the Queen, but let's forget about that, I guess.
Well, there doesn't have to be a love triangle . . .
Why do they think she’s 14
She looks like she’s 14
@@Syntell 😂 no she doesn’t she looks in her 20s
