Sir you aren't active now-a-days,please keep posting lessons, it's hard to find such a fluent speaking teacher like you. Love your content you're the best sir!
I really liked the video, it's very educational. I consider it very important that you are speaking in your spoken language because you have full knowledge and mastery of the rules of the subject.
We are fortunate to get a teacher like you!!!! l have got a wonderful progress in English learning after watching your videos. You are one of the best teacher in this field. your videos are very easy to understand Thank you!!! and Thank God!!!!!!
Whoever you are. I don't know but voice came out of my heart. God bless you. I was learning English from my 1st class to till at this time when I am in university right now. But didn't understand meaning of have in 12 to 14 years and then you came and what I learned from you in few months is far more greater than I learned in 12 to 14 years.
The verb to be is important because we can communicate at the same time we can combine time and space. It helps us to ask about people whether it's their name, nationality, where it comes from, how it feels. ☺
I found your channel through browsing in the u tube and now i am become your fan your way of teaching is very diffrent from others you make simple all the difficult things so that we can learn i blessed to have a channel likr you keep posting new videos so that we all can learn together
This video is very important, because , in this video the teacher or the that is speaking, explain the importance of the verb to be. in the video he also conjuge the verb and he made sentences with each one
fantastic lesson! However, my son confused when to use isnt vs doesnt, do vs am is are, dont vs arent, i hope you have a vid on that. Keep up the good work!
Sir, I really like your method. I teach English in Brazil. Here I need to teach in depth, so your method is really helpful for me. I need to teach them about gerunds and infinitives. I wish you would have a video on this too 🙏 God bless you and your family 🙌
Good Evening sir, sentence no 6:The Eagles are my favorite rock band. As per the rule in collective noun is singular, if spoken together.Band is a singular noun. The Eagles is a band name .
It seems to me that *is* is more correct here. The confusing part is the name of the band itself is a plural form, "The Eagles." In my opinion, you are fine to use either *is* or *are* here. Because a band is always made up of more than one person, and plurality can be used with collective nouns to emphasize that plurality, it doesn't make a big difference. However, let's consider that there is a bar (or tavern) named "The Eagle." You would never refer to this in the plural. _Have you heard if The Eagle is going to be open tonight?_ _Bill says that drinks are half-off tonight at The Eagle. We should go!_
dear Ganesh, you’ve said “She is a person so we use singular, and she is another person so when they together there is two people, so we use plural. That sentence remembered me a one of my old questions. There are naturally singular words and naturally plural words. Would you make lesson about that words, please. Thank you Sir.
Hi teacher.. hope you are doing great. Would you mind telling me what your mother tongue is? You've incredibly got a great accent more likely American, it's very interesting... Hope you'll reply.
Dear sir, I am Srikanth I have a doubt, on present simple and ((be ) am/is/are ) While in present continuous we all use am, are, is, but in this video, we all also use am, are, is as well, so can you please tell me the difference
el verbo "to be" es importante por la variedad de uso que tiene, que a diferencia de mi idioma que exiten ser y estar en ingles solo existe el verbo "to be" que es mas facil de manejar por las pocas variavariaciones que tiene en relacion a nuetro idioma
I sub'd to you because you have a good accent and your videos are very informative. Peace of advice through, you can smile a little bit to give a more positive aura.
I saw this post somewhere then I wondered if they made a mistake by using IS instead of ARE. Life is a hospital where every patients IS possessed to change the beds
Can we use, > it is "a" very warm today? Waiting for the next video sir, Do videos on different "Idioms, cliché or phrasal verb along vocabulary whenever there is no idea on which topic a video is to be made". ### 1. Hack around (phrasal verb) - waiting time. >>> I am hacking around as of now as i don't know where I am and where my future is taking. (Written example out of own words, do correct me if I am wrong) 2. Outrage - angry. 3. Gaiety - Happy. ( my words which I have read recently )
Sir, I do have lot of confusion about 'to be''. In these sentences we use 'to be'. Ex: I want him to be a good student. This sheet is to be filled by SM. Can you please make a video on this.
I will be making videos on the verb 'to be'. In the meantime, I suggest that you study verb patterns (infinitive vs -ing forms). This will help you to understand when to use 'to + infinitive' (ex: to be) and when to using -ing (ex: being). This doesn't just apply to 'be' - it applies to many verbs.
Remember that most uses of "to be" involve hypothetical situations. The speaker is thinking about a situation or state that could exist, or maybe needs to, but does not.
I loved it and now I have started to learn english after seeing your videos in you tube but I have one doubt in this lesson. You told that we have to use "are" when the sentence comes in plural. Right? But why we are using "are" when it comes in singular for example " You are beautiful". You in the sense singular. Right? Could you please clarify me?
I'm glad to know that you are finding the lessons useful. You have said correctly that 'you' is singular. But the rule with the verb 'be' is that we use 'are' with plural nouns AND with 'you'. It's a fixed rule in English and it has no connection to 'you' being singular or plural :)
Ganesh is correct. *You* is always treated as plural. It doesn't matter if you are speaking to one person or several. The sentence form, verb conjugation, and everything else is the same. It is always treated as plural.
be forms: am, is, are, was , were have forms: has, have, had. do forms: do, does, did. These are all correct or any extras or any other changes in these , plz clarify to me SIR
Ganesh! #4 answer I said, you aren't late #1 I said, James isn't a doctor.#7 I said she isn't in her office now.#8 I said Venice and Rome aren't in Greece they are in Italy. I think I got 100%, but I need an ok from you to make sure that these answers are right. Please tell me!
I do not know how languages like Hindi work. But as a native English teacher who is familiar with several other languages, it is very odd to me that English does not have separate words for you (singular) and you (plural). *You* is always treated as plural even if only one person or thing is being addressed.
Context usually tells us if "you" is meant to be singular or plural, but sometimes we will say "you all" to make sure it's clear, "You all need to be ready to leave at 6 a.m." We also use, "all of you." "All right, all of you, let's go!"
Use the word *not* when you want to emphasize the negative. Consider this: Angela: _Is it something I said?_ (Angela thinks she has offended Jeff.) Jeff: _It's not that._ (Jeff was not offended by anything Angela said.) Note also that Jeff would never respond: _Isn't that._ But he might say this, if he didn't want to emphasize the negative so much: _It isn't that._

Good Evening sir,
sentence no 6:The Eagles are my favorite rock band.
As per the rule in collective noun is singular, if spoken together.Band is a singular noun.
The Eagles is a band name .
Collective nouns are not always singular. See: blog.oxforddictionaries.com/2011/09/agreement-over-collective-nouns/
Learn English Lab - sir I have same doubt in no 6. So it means we can use both 'is' & 'are' or strictly 'are'??
It seems to me that *is* is more correct here. The confusing part is the name of the band itself is a plural form, "The Eagles."
In my opinion, you are fine to use either *is* or *are* here. Because a band is always made up of more than one person, and plurality can be used with collective nouns to emphasize that plurality, it doesn't make a big difference.
However, let's consider that there is a bar (or tavern) named "The Eagle." You would never refer to this in the plural.
_Have you heard if The Eagle is going to be open tonight?_
_Bill says that drinks are half-off tonight at The Eagle. We should go!_
VERY WELL EXPLAINED IT'S JUST THE MATTER OF 'S'

I saw this post somewhere then I wondered if they made a mistake by using IS instead of ARE.
Life is a hospital where every patients IS possessed to change the beds
'Is' is correct but after 'every' there should be a singular noun: "Life is a hospital where every PATIENT is possessed..."
Love from Bangladesh 😅
good morning sir.i read in news paper."cm and deputy cm were present".in this sentence why do not I use presented instead of present.
Hi Raja, it's because 'present' is an adjective here. Here's another example: "The CM and deputy CM were happy."
Can we use,
> it is "a" very warm today?
Waiting for the next video sir,
Do videos on different "Idioms, cliché or phrasal verb along vocabulary whenever there is no idea on which topic a video is to be made".

you just have to learn that ,then it will make you sense in the future.you is always considered as plural

for tenses i have seen only one video of yours i.e of present simple..need all the other videos of remaining tenses ..please explain in easy way ...
All the other tenses are coming soon! :)
Thank you soo much for ur reply...
Use the word *not* when you want to emphasize the negative. Consider this:
Angela: _Is it something I said?_ (Angela thinks she has offended Jeff.)
Jeff: _It's not that._ (Jeff was not offended by anything Angela said.)
Note also that Jeff would never respond: _Isn't that._
But he might say this, if he didn't want to emphasize the negative so much: _It isn't that._
Nice video ! I’ll follow you!
Very good ! thank you so much
You're welcome, Luiz :)
Sir please make a video be being been
Sir ,I got your meaning, when you said your is beautiful 😁😂
I am a big fan of you sir. Have learned a lot from you. Just 1 doubt, "Me and the family or I and the family"? Please help.
Strictly speaking, it should be "My family and I." But in informal conversation, it's OK to say, "Me and my/the family."
Tim is = Tim's
Then
How to write possessive form of Tim
