Likewise! Listening to your truck pop off and start up was music to me ears the entire way. Right now mine is open headers and I think cherries will be the perfect way to tone her down.
Especially old GM in my opinion. One truck guy to another, my truck used to take a while to get started or have to pump the pedal a dozen times to get it to. Assuming you have a carburetor, pull the dip stick and smell your oil. If it reeks of fuel check the secondary metering plugs in your carb. Mine were leaking fuel into the crank case and causing the stubborn start. If it was simply just a long time since you started it back when you made this video forget I said anything lol.
A few days ago I started up my 78 k10 and revved it and the engine is out of balance or something gotta figure it out but I got some factory rallies for it they look good
Backfire at 2:15 This was a very weird sounding backfire. I have never heard my truck backfire before.

After each crank I would pump it. While it is starting I would pump it once every 10 seconds until it starts

350,000 miles on that original motor. It was rebuild in the 90s or early 2000s tho
