    Don't want to sound like a couch expert (drip under pressure)or anything but I was always taught when building a ledge and brace door, to have the ledge, brace and fixings side of the door facing the inside of the building so it's not exposed to the weather where water can lay on it, therefore last a lot longer, great job though !❤👍

    Show how to build a door and put angle bolts in backwards. It runs from bottom inge to op top corner. So it holds the top up. If done right will hang and swing with just a couple screws. If done right that door would hang and not sag with 5 screws

    Your z brace is on wrong though cobba it should be from the hinge side on the bottom to opening side on top so the weight comes back on the hinge if that makes sense.

    You don't use glue when you build things?

  • @charleslindsey9167

    I believe the bottom of the brace should be bottom right and the top to top left and no way the top could sag. I'm not trying to be critical, looks good, I enjoy y'alls page!!

    • @davidheckman
      @davidheckman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The bottom of the brace should be on the hinge side of the door to avoid sagging.

    just wondering why u didn't use slabs wood u have laying around I think solid plank would be better than plywood and it don't cost u anything except time... zeke

    Nice door, but the brace is the wrong way! A brace should always run upwards from the hinge side.

    Pour a ledger board on wall half way up and you could have double shelves !!!

    If you go underneath the workbench and screw the 2x4 under the plywood to the wall, that workbench will be rock solid tied into the wall. Makes a world of difference when using a vice or any thing that stresses the structure of the bench. Great build.

    Get yourself a 12" speed square and just use that as a saw guide to square boards 👍 saves all the pencil marks. 😎🍻

    Check out on youtube for a motorcycle lift made out of and ATV jack. A little metal and some wood added to the jack which is much cheaper the a store bought Motorcycle lift table. I built mine and it lifts my HD Wideglide like a champ.

    good day sir and madam ..... at timestamp 1:49 i agree with you 100% that when you build anything yourself it is far better and lasts longer than anything that you buy ....... when you buy something it is meant to last until the warranty runs out (which runs out soon as you leave the building) .......

    Always need work benches. I have to take a couple hours a week to clean mine off. I've got 2 female miniature weiner dogs. Both of them are meaner than a black snake, but wouldn't take anything in the world for them. They give me lots of laughs. Take care Tyler & Brittney

      @wallacefarmandsawmill I said that I wouldn't take anything in the world for them, but after I got to thinking bout it, I would trade them for a new wife. Then I would go back and steal my darn weiner dogs back.
