- I went into the new Goblin Caves High Roller Dungeon and had some fun PvP and PvE. This dungeon is great for more experienced solo players and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go!

You mentioned that you have to listen for portals in high roller but i thought thats what you always had to do? How can you see portals without just listening for them? sorry im new
Yeah you gotta listen in both but in normal dungeons, they show when they spawn so you know one has popped up within the circle. However, in HR there is no feed for kills or portals.
By worm boss are you talking about the centipede or is there a different worm boss

apart from the fact that u looted the blue crossbow the general loot and the money u made was pretty low they need to buff the loot

Either that or slow down the circle... I mean bro had time to kill two mobs and destroy two crates that he already had to run for his life, that's some bad design, spawning on the side of the map is so punishing. It feels like this game punishes you for not cheesing mobs/loot. You should have time to clear mobs AND loot, not choose between the two
Did you meet stacked wizard yet? I'm kinda scared that he clap fighter with 2 zaps, idk how to dodge them

Worm boss is fun, there's one that can randomly spawn in a secret room in the Regular Goblin Cave. It's in the bat room that has a pool with spiders in it. The statue in there has a switch on the left hand that opens the room. To fight it, just back up to avoid its two melee attacks and the 3rd move makes it coat the ground in poison so step around it. It can also hurt you when it comes up from burrowing.

I have tried high roller goblin cave 3 times and those times I didn't manage to get a good amount of treasure to sell so I ended up making like 100g from treasures, so I find that farming the cave troll to be a much safer and profitable. Although, you just got 300g so maybe I just got rly unlucky. Also, I just checked the admission cost and it's down to 50g and I'm sure yesterday when I played it it was 100g so maybe it might become worth it. The issue of 100g for it was because it doesn't have hell unlike with the normal maps so you get more for the 100g admission. Also, this EA the playerbase is much lower compared to before so the trades have become less profitable, and I'm finding that I can't sell a blue bard Straw Hat for even 30g lol.
EDIT: the normal goblin cave also lost the unlimited treasure, so what I said was already outdated lol
just to inform you but there is a weekend event where high rollers are only 50g
Yeah there's an event on this weekend so I'd be getting practice in the high roller if I were you!

You can definitely survive the hr caves with common/uncommon gear, maybe even beat a cocky player if you're prepared. I've only done it a few times but I've escaped every time and it's always super intense, you barely make your gold back though unless you're lucky lol
Yeah it's definitely viable to run it with low gear but you'll likely get less in return
Is it worth getting the game even with the lawsuit and everything? I want to play so bad but dont want to end up losing my money :(
you wont lose your money lol, teh game will still exist, its just rather if it will exist on steam or not

The cave exit is there right at 5:04. should keep that in mind when playing these as a last resort if you can't find a portal or need a way out.
I personally find the crossbows are much better on fighter then bows. That windlass would nearly one shot most of those goblins with a headshot.
Yeah the cave exit is useful given the right situation and I prefer bows over crossbows personally, more reliable

Just use regular crossbow.
Its great and you dont get slowed down when taking a shot at a retreating enemy.
