Well I would have to disagree in the sense that HE often says he’s the best heavyweight that’s ever lived, which is his own belief. I think he’s elite out of the current top 10 heavyweights of today but would he have been in the 90s against all those greats?
Hes not fought to his full potential based on the guys he's fought but he's definitely beatable. Hes a good mover for a man of his size and has beat 1 elite fighter in klitschko to win most of the belts at that point. He beat wilder but I must admit I never rated wilder as an elite heavyweight way before fury fought him based his record. Wilder has no natural boxing ability
Oh yeah! Can’t argue that point, he definitely stretches and exaggerates the truth. However, once he’s in the ring he always seems to find a way to win so far!
@@johnhopkinson7573 you’re preaching to the converted my friend. I think Fury is an incredible fighter! And so is Usyk, that’s why I am so excited to watch this fight, we’re only a week and a half away!
Fury is elite, but he's not an all time great. Beating Klitschko was impressive, but he was 40 and retired after being knocked out in his next fight. Wilder is overrated and Whyte was broken.
I gave wilder the 7th and the 4th as well as the two knockdowns but that's it in the first Fury Wilder bout, scoring it 114-112 for Fury. The Pianetta fight he wasn't long back and still lacking sharpness, he did hurt Pianetta in the 7th with a body shot and the ref wrongly didn't call it a body shot and declared it low and Pianetta was done, so that should have been stopped.
Good luck with the channel. I think Fury is elite, I think he could do with beefing up his resume a bit still, but he still has time. I think hes elite for the reasons you gave, his win over klitschko and not just his win in the second fight with Wilder but the way he totally dismantled him. Plus nobody can blame Fury for Haye pulling out which would have made his resume better. Just have to see how the Usyk fight goes. Also the cut in the Wallin fight was slightly higher than the worst area you can be cut only by a bit but it was a terrible cut and could have been stopped. I'm just saying compared to the Vitali Klitschko cut against Lewis or the Henry Cooper cuts against Ali which were lower and near the eyelid it wasn't as low down or dangerous. There was a smaller cut at the side of his eye too. I'm not saying it possibly couldn't have been stopped but in the end he came out of it without it worsening too much.
Thanks for the comment and watch. Your analysis is spot on. He's definitely elite IMO, however, he does have a thin resume with only 2 Elite champions he's beaten, but you have to think at the time these two champions he beat were regarded as the best and almost impossible to beat. Are we now in the same position with Usyk, as I'm seeing a lot of people picking Usyk based on his recent form and all his achievements in pro & Amateur boxing.
In terms of record he's definitely one of the top 5 heavyweights of the last 20 years, so yes he's elite. I'd rate his ring achievements (at heavyweight alone) above David Haye, Wilder and Usyk, but behind AJ and the two Klitschkos.
No elite and simply overrated. Fought only two guys with a known name a totally Gypsy woodoo befuddled Klitschko and a quoted no good boxer with only one punch Wilder who dropped him often enough during their fights and couldn't even handle a novice Ngannou who gave him a hiding and dropped him as well and made him look like he just got out of a car crash. Then you have Usyk with near or more than 350 fights, amateur world champion, Olympic gold medallist, won the Aly Trophy tournament and fought only other world champions during that tournament and beat them all and beat every heavyweight put in front of him, inclusive the best of the British boxers AJ twice, while Fury avoids any of the presently top ranked opponents. So, who is "elite" and who needs to prove that he is even "good" and belongs in the top tear? That would be Fury and once he beats Usyk, AJ, Zhang, Hrgovic, Parker and maybe even Ruiz, then one could re-think where Fury fits in. Definitely no "elite" up to now.
So he has to beat all of those fighters just to br elite but Usyk has only beaten 1 top 3 heavyweight in AJ and is elite at heavyweight based on his amateur experience?… So regardless of Fury beating a 10 year unbeaten Klitschko that was the no 1 in the world and then beating Wilder who was no 1 in the world at the time as AJ had lost to Ruiz and just recently won it back he’s not elite?.. Hmm. Ok well if he beats Usyk there’s no question as to him being elite imo. Yes his resume is thin compared to both Usyk at AJ but he’s beaten 2 of the top 3 heavyweights and when he beat Whyte, Whyte was regarded in the top 5.
Belly is a pretty funny nickname by Usyk. Any reasons in particular you think Fury is overrated? He is the current WBC Champ, former, Unified champ and former 2 Time Ring Magazine Champ and Lineal champ. If you compare him to the former heavyweights of the 90s, I can see your thinking in terms of resumes, but I'm talking about the current crop of heavyweights of today. So if he isn't elite among them, who would you say is elite?
@@yinkaoyesanya8159 that Usyk is the best heavyweight in this era and Fury gave it his all and incredible heart. He could have won if not for the knock down but Usyk is a living legend. Just to add to a point you made which I've been saying about Tyson is that he tends to prepare for who's in front of him and so far has done enough to win every fight. You can tell he is taking this fight very seriously which makes me believe he is going to smoke Usyk and knock him out inside 4 or 5 rounds. I haven't heard anyone outside the Fury camp itself agree with me yet in fact many are predicting Usyk wins. I think Tyson is going to come out strong from the opening bell , walk him down and batter him . I get the feeling he is supremely confident that he can knock him out and doesn't want to get into a drawn out jab, move, feint scenario which might hand the advantage to Usyk if it goes for 12 rounds. @@serubaleboxing Thank you brother not me ! You've got off your ass to start the channel ! Just been watching your " how does Fury beat Usyk " good analysis , I would only disagree with one thing , technically I think Tyson is better than Usyk. He does it beautifully and effectively but Usyk only boxes one style , Tyson can mix it up like no other heavy weight in fact more than most other boxers full stop. He can fight on the outside with speed and great foot work , he can rough house you , hold , frustrate , push around, lean, wrestle , he can fight on the inside with great tight upper cuts , he can go south paw , orthodox , he can circle you both directions , come straight at you ,he can command the center of the ring or be on the ropes with incredible defensive head movement. His overall boxing IQ is second to none and his mental game in my opinion is up there with Ali. As you said, if he comes in looking anything like he did against Ngannou he'll lose but if he comes in like he can , mentally and physically in top condition , Usysk wont stand a chance. One other thing , it looks like his Dad has actually been involved in his training which he hasn't really been for quite a while which to me says things are really good in the Tyson camp. They could all knock him out. If Fury is half the elite boxer you say he is, why couldn’t he???
Instead of the totally boring fight he gave against an over the hill, shot fighter!
Fury doesn't even know if he's elite.
Well I would have to disagree in the sense that HE often says he’s the best heavyweight that’s ever lived, which is his own belief. I think he’s elite out of the current top 10 heavyweights of today but would he have been in the 90s against all those greats?
in 80,s and 90,s nobody heard of him
If he beats usyk there is no question he’s elite.
Definitely Agree no question about it then if he beats Usyk.
If fury loses hes a big sausage 😮
@@carlstark6857 really!? Usyk is an incredible champion and fighter. This is a true 50/50 fight with alot of experts starting to lean towards Fury
It would depend on how he wins, dirty tacticss for the lack of skills, or without dirty tactics.
@@markwright5223nobody dont a wins a win bud nobody has been able to beat usyk however they tried it’s a part of the fight bub
Lyson fraudy 9 times put 20 overweighted 😂
Makes no sense
best bluffer in dodge city
Oh yeah! Can’t argue that point, he definitely stretches and exaggerates the truth. However, once he’s in the ring he always seems to find a way to win so far!
@@serubaleboxing Because he's very good and if you can't see that then you don't know boxing.
I missed that punch, I also think he was taking it easy on Pianeta trying to get some rounds in.
@@serubaleboxing Yeah true, get the rounds in.
simply overrated
Thanks for the watch and comment. Any reasons why you feel he's overarted?
Achieve all these things, like beating John McDermott? 😂🤦🏼♂️
If Fury is not an elite heavyweight fighter, there are no elite heavyweight fighters today!
100%! You know your boxing pal 👊🏽👍🏽
Belly is not elite. Very overrated.
@@serubaleboxing What did you learn from yesterday’s fight?
@@yinkaoyesanya8159 that Usyk is the best heavyweight in this era and Fury gave it his all and incredible heart. He could have won if not for the knock down but Usyk is a living legend. I picked Usyk to win if you see my prediction and post fight video. Fury gave Usyk his toughest fight in heavyweight so far.
I still can't decide
Fair play. Who would you say is elite in the heavyweight division today?
if tyson isn't elite then nobody is elite in the heavyweight division.

For me no one at this moment in time beats Fury...
We will see
Yes, he is, and his size plays a huge role. He happens to be a good big guy. There are other big guys like Nikolai Valuev and David Price, but they are not as good. That said, he would be even much better without all the drama.
I definitely think he’d be more focused and perhaps more loved by boxing fans without all the drama. But it’s all the drama and controversy that makes him such an interesting character where people either love him or hate him lol
He needs the drama to make people forget he has'nt defended that title in 27 months or more, so the drama keeps him relevant.
Its a lame tactic by a lame fighter
fury 🦆
The wilder wins aint impressive in hindsight from a technical boxing point of view, its the fact fury went against nearly ALL boxing opinion and got an attacking trainer, and completly steamed into him..If hes going to do that against a fighter who almost everyone,AT THE TIME,said had the biggest punch since mike tyson,.its hard to see him being afraid of usyks power at all.
I’d say fury is elite and is underrated by many at the moment. Lots of people like take the current snapshot in time and say see he’s overrated. But if fury beats Uysk they’ll crawl back under there rock until the next time they can crawl out and see Uysk was beat by X also, Uysk was overrated! And it goes on and on
I agree Fury is elite and so is Usyk. I just don’t want fans making excuses that Usyk wasn’t a real heavyweight, too small if Fury beats him.
@@serubaleboxing
If Fury beats Usyk the excuses will fly thick and fast, guaranteed. The more "jump on the bandwagon" type fans will probably dump the Ukrainian and start hyping up AJ to beat Tyson.
work in progress to become one(beat Alex U)
He is 37 he's hardly a work in progress
He is 100 % elite. If you think otherwise you don't understand boxing.
I agree with you. Did you not see my video and comments at the end? However, alot of people don’t think he is which is crazy!
@@serubaleboxing I did , I was referring to many of the commenters below , I was surprised there were so many who don't rate him. We are going to find out in a few days how elite he is, can't wait for this one ! Enjoyed your content by the way ..... Also I am guessing he doesn't want to risk leaving any decisions to the judges after Wilder one. Looking forward to watching your channel after the fight !
@@comedychannels thanks man! It’s crazy how so many people keep discrediting all of Fury’s top wins. I just didn’t want any excuses if he beats Usyk.
Enough of my rambling bollocks !!!
If he beats Alex he’s beaten 3 world unbeaten champions. Wait and see
Tyson is overrated, as a boxer, but definitely elite as a fighter and if he was a little guy he'd be another Connor MacGregor because it's not the size of the dog that matters in a fight.

He's definitely elite and if you know boxing it's not difficult to see, he passes the eye test for what makes a certain kind of boxer above the competition...And by the way Usyk is exactly the same he has those same attributes that set him apart as elite and that's why this is a highly interesting fight.
