Sonali Bendre’s story is truly extraordinary-her courage in facing life’s toughest battles and her strength in sharing her truth are nothing short of inspiring. Which part of her journey speaks to you the most? Have you or someone close to you faced something similar? We’d love to hear your thoughts, or if you just want to show your love and support, leave a 💛 below!
Very good interview. I wish these questions were addressed. What symptoms did Sonali ignore before her diagnosis? What made her go to the doctor that resulted in diagnosis? What is the naturopathy she followed? What are the ways she followed to improve gut health? While the interview is inspiring, I feel these nitty gritties help someone either detect or manage their illness better.
Faye - thanks for bringing these conversations! Love that you have these folks coming in to share their story, only feedback would be that with your network it would be great to see you bring leaders in spaces other than bollywood to share their background and story. There are multiple platforms that bring in bollywood but very few who bring in other perspectives, esp given very few of us will make it to bollywood ever. The other voices and stories could leave a bigger impact!
Truly inspiring discussion, Sonali! Bold, beautiful, and brave-brava, girl! Keep it up! 🌟 Sonali Bendre's story reminds us how courage and positivity can help us face life's toughest challenges. Her journey of resilience and healing is deeply inspiring. Kudos to Faye D'Souza for creating a platform that highlights such empowering narratives! 👏
Wish this interview , which was so motivational and inspiring , had come out 2 weeks ahead . I am just feeling that this could have helped my friend whom I lost a week back to the disease. I feel that she gave up primarily of mental exhaustion and this interview would definitely have given her perspective of the situation and it would have inspired her.
Nice show Faye 😊 I have watched a few of your episodes I like that all the guests feel comfortable to voice their mind here. And you let them say their piece irrespective of what your opinion maybe 😊 nicely done 😊
Can’t even imagine what she went through! I mean I have tears just listening, gratitude, gratitude and just gratitude to God for being kind to us every single day and every single minute 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Faye. I truly loved the way you interviewed Sonali. Not many to what I have seen on social media could do it the way you did it. I think your apt to interview women from Bollywood. Very interesting. Thankyou.
32:17 - 32:37, hope some survivors talk about the early signs as women always tend to push these aside as nothing big. It would be helpful to know what to pay attention to. Hope survivors, when comfortable, can share it.

With all due respect, naturopath is not any kind of doctor. Sonali bendre mentioned that she chose naturopath from the team of doctors. Naturopaths don't go to any medical school, there is no basis for what treatment they suggest unlike her oncologists who slog for years in medical school and have scientific reasoning behind everything that they do. It is unfortunate that during this important interview, such misconceptions are spread about disease that is so severe. Ministry of ayush passed coronil as supportive medication for COVID even though there was no supportive research whatsoever. I can never trust such government institutions which are just run by capitalist like ramdev
She is definitely a good looking actor but never sharpened her acting skills. There is a reason why everyone called her "non-actor" because she just couldn't act that's the fact. The only reason she survived through the 90s because there was least amount of competition because everyone in her era was just over the top and used to ham in every single movie!! Also actor Lisa Ray spoke about all this much before she was diagnosed and had shared her entire journey. It's complete ignorance if she feels this was not spoken about earlier.
Faye, why this prabhu chawla type dark studio? Light aane do! Sonali's point about reading is very correct and can help many people deal with all kind of stress.

Absolutely, there is no mention of what type of cancer she had and symptoms that she ignored
She is so candid, transparent! Love her for her vulnerability and transparency. This interview uncovers so much depth into her character 😊

Big pharma controls everything. All of 'em are corrupt

Same person in all talk shows....the same questions....bring in ordinary people who have done great things
Listen to her. She's saying and doing great things too.
