  • Testing a friend's Sebo E3 canister, I feel like the last time it was tested we had higher nozzle flow numbers but I could be mistaken, it was a long time ago.

I want one to pair with my Miele. Miele and Sebo canisters are the best in the industry, in my opinion. I like the S class filtration on the bigger canisters and how the hose swivels around the machine.

I just bought one of these machines and I quite like it. I'm actually surprised that these powerheads spin at a relatively low rpm in comparison to others but it seems to clean well. I would love to see some carpet cleaning tests to determine deep cleaning ability.

It's my friends machine so I won't be performing furthering testing on it. I did previous have a D4 which is similar in power with lower suction due to design but While they're very well built and by no means a bad machine I do think when it comes to carpet cleaning there a few better options.

Blackheartvacs, what would you recommend? I want best carpet and hard floors cleaning, in a machine that will last a long time.

@@tekjunkie28 I ended up with the Miele C3 with SEB 236. Very happy with it!

@@minnybiker4505 I have a Sebo D4. Great machine but I also feel the power nozzle is underpowered... or I did. I had to take it to the shop for a motor and Board replacement. I'll test it out when I get it back.
Reason I say 'used to' is because today I vacuumed with the rainbow, which is a known good cleaner. It's CRI tested and it has always done great for me. I vacuumed my downstairs carpets again today and to my surprise the water was damn near clean and I got minimal sand and grit up. I was honestly expecting a lot more from the rainbow. Heck I might even make a TH-cam video on it as Sebo is now one of the most sold here in the US as of late.
The Seb 228 has more power on paper.. though the seb 236 looks better. Glad you like it!

Can you compare the Sebo K3. They claim the tapered hose of E3 adds more suction - you can test this!

      I have tested the K3 th-cam.com/video/cuF4r5LqoYg/w-d-xo.html
      To summarize
      E3 K3
      Hose 108.39 cfm 80" 84.77 CFM 56"
      wand 96.59 CFM 72" 81.17 CFM 54"
      nozzle 69.87 CFM 30" 60.11CFM 18"
There has been more changed than just the hose too i'm pretty sure a different motor is used, the E3 doesn't seem to have a suction relief valve like the K3 does either so it's waterlift (suction) will be higher. and the filter setup is a little different.
