- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I each spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! @@ErosIRL He coulda won with THIS quite easily. He just doesn't play well. I mean he coulda summoned Hakeiro during the opposing turn like any normal person setting up plays when they are going to be locked next turn. He didn't even know he was going to lock himself though.
Honestly we need to start giving dzeff another extra pack for every time he loses in a row 😭

Could've just summoned the white dragon in his hand but he just kept it like that 💀
Even better, it seems likely to me (with my mininal understanding of Superheavy Samurais) that there was no way (barring lucking into the same draw for turn) for MBT to OTK Dzeeff if Dzeeff had just walked over the crossbow. MBT had stacked his deck last turn, Dzeeff effectively allowed him to use Prosperity's effect for free by not forcing a search on Dzeeff's turn, and the draw that MBT set up got him to the OTK.
Had Dzeeff truely not been worried about MBT OTKing, he would have had nothing to fear. But because he let doubt into his heart, his fears became reality. It would be difficult to script that duel in a better way than it played out.
and actually Dzeeff was can do otk in his turn by using that Level 5 to up the Level 7 and then can tribute it to special summon that LV10 and by discarding 1 monster; all monsters of MBT will be destroyed not matter about their ATK points!...
@@delta3244 Actually it would've just made his situation worse to try attacking over it. Gigagloves can banish itself from the graveyard to excavate the top card when the opponent declares an attack, and if the excavated card is a "Superheavy" monster then he'd get to add it to hand while dropping the atk of Dzeeff's monster to 0 permanently. So not only would he still have gotten the battleball, he'd have actually had an EXTRA card to go with everything else.
Little known effect of the card I'm sure, but it's definitely there.

MBT had to play against blackwings using allies of justice and flamvell. I consider it even.

This episode was crazy really went from not believing doug can win to believing then for him to just lose like that damn
I gotta say everyone clowns on doug for not reading or gage for getting mad but I’ll never get over how quickly mbt goes into “that’s a perma” mode 😭
You missed the context. The game was intense and there was a guy in chat who said to do the stupid play that was wrong, MBT listened and got screwed for it when he otherwise had game on board. Chat needs to learn to stop chatting, but even so, MBT unbanned them after the games.

Honestly its very funny the duality of these unstoppable winstreaks. Cimo gets a winstreak vs Gage and becomes the villain on his own show. MBT just absolutely rails Doug for a year straight and we keep laughing.
At some point he's got realize he has to do with his viewers find fun. Which is most likely him winning, instead of playing anything that isnt even worth going in a garbage bin

@@rakudai5972 Dzeeff is also the only YugiTuber I know who would host such a losing streak on his own channel and not settle into a pattern of whining about it. That makes him a rare essential commodity.

this is definitely the most back and forth anime duel we've had so far, both these archetypes were surprisingly competent and evenly matched
people are getting bored of seeing mbt win every week but look at it this way, it is not about who wins it is about how mbt clutches the match

Also, remember Progression Series S2 the second Nhym started winning games? Everyone hated it compared to the weekly Cimooo stomp.

If you summoned Huaquero during MBTs endphase you couldve won but either way this was a really intense episode, great back & forth for the most part and I was genuinely hyped

Absolutely loved MBTs reaction at the end when he pulled it. Great play. And I loved the series.
From that misplay equip to the win, that was an incredible anime moment. If not the funniest episode yet, it’s up there.

I declare this, to be the greatest Master Roulette episode so far!!! So even and even cool thematically, since a lot of the Armed Dragons abilities use the attack stat Vs the Super Heavy Defense stat!
Looked like Doug had fun and MBT was sweating. Also that hoot of joy at the end capped it off!
Getting the machine kaiju on the SSH pack is mad lucky. Holy crap. Too bad you didn't get Steam Train King though.

Enjoyed the games a lot. There's not the most common decks here, but they're some fan favs I'm sure.
Superheavy Samurai takes me back to when I used to play on the playground. I had none of the synchros, but 3 ben-kei and some rank 8s, so i played inferno reckless summon ben-kei turbo. Good times. Good times.

Very good episode. Normally i would be on Dougs side and want him to win a match, but i love Gong and the SHS archetype so i am happy with MBTs victory here.Better luck to Doug next week.

Doug is probably doing as bad as Gage did in the progression series when Gage played against blackwing
Unlike Gage we can’t dunk on Dzeef like Gage because Gage gets such a big ego the moment he starts winning.
The only thing heavier than the Samurai is my heart at the thought that Armed Dragon had to go into battle without his Ojama pals. 🤣

Was very funny hearing MBT say "we have all the synchros we need" right after getting Jizukiru and talking about using it with Battleball, since they didn't have all the synchros and couldn't do the Jizukiru + Battleball interaction
MBT seems extra salty today
I had a bit of an idea while watching this. You could put in a rule sometimes to let you have a little bit more strategy in the pack pulling and deck build process like in saga.
The idea I had was to implement a rule that would allow the Players to do one of the following each video: Pull 10 Master Packs, Pull 5 Packs from your Roulette Set, Craft 1 Card from your Roulette Set up to UR, or Craft 2 Cards from your Roulette Set up to SR (Or up to R).
I just feel like this would allow for the Players to strategize more as well as to get more cards that they might need in order to make a more interesting Match in the end without just giving the Players whatever they want. It also makes some packs that have a bunch of high Rarity Cards more playable as a nice little bonus.
At the end, Doug was thinking, “What do I have to do to get a win in my own damn series!”
Actually tragic, Doug got so close this time as well. This is a surprisingly balanced matchup as packs go, some really good games! Never thought I'd be hyped about Armed Dragons vs Superheavy Samurai before but here we are.
It was funny to hear MBT remark about how Doug pulled everything when he often does so himself, including this episode.
At first I was expecting a beat down from a drunk father to his child but what we got was to drunk citizens of Melbourne slugging it like they were fighting over the last pint the bar had

Not gonna lie, this was a good game of back and forth Yugioh. Much more entertaining than watching "Halq into etc" along with SwordSoul and Floo combos or Bra(i)nde(a)d Fusion.

The man is one effect away from making lv 10 which is a non once per turn raigeki and he goes for the blitz to get a single targeting pop which can be negated. Now I don't call out bad plays often but my lord just read the cards
I swear Dzeef gets so hyped winning game one, then gets wrecked the next two games. I feel bad, but damn MBT got the big battle balls😂🤣

Doug, if you use your main account. So you can get Royals, just screenshot the ending screen after pulling cards. That way it's right there, you can filter them by recent sort, and then the screenshot of what you pulled will be right there. It's only 80 cards per pull

Dzeef is the anime villain in his own series. You do make the best content out of everyone Ive watched.
Dzeef is not a bad duelist. He's actually quite good, and can learn how to play complicated decks quite well. But he's not a creative one. He isn't good at coming up with things on the fly, and his knowledge of anything off meta is quite bad. Which means he's pitted himself in what could be the worst series, against the worst cohost for him, at least if he wants to win. It's a series all about getting creative with random jank, something MBT is probably the best in the yugitubing scene at. Thankfully MBT is also charismatic as fuck, and every episode is extremely entertaining to watch. All I can say is thank god he didn't pick Gage.
I like how in the opening MBT is Bandit Keith and Dzeeff is Joey which is a clear reference to Dzeeff's inability to read cards and Joseph's clear successful cheating in both Prog Playoffs and the History of Yugioh/Jank. Very nice touch.
The real victory was how much it rattled MBT to think he was going to lose. Man had buckets of sweat all over the floor after that match lol
