Not necessarily. If the dogs know each other it doesn't really matter because they are just playing. My Beta always starts the attacks on the Alpha just because he is bored, fully knowing he will get beat up. The Beta bites, runs and gets thrown around, gets up and starts again. And the Alpha is aware of this, so it never really hurts the Beta.
Malamute are not a fighting breed but they are very powerful and have unbelievable stamina. They are very rarely used for dog fights as they have been bred over hundreds of years to get on with other dogs as they were used in packs just like regular Huskies.
Its true, their temperament is too calm but you better believe a malamute can overpower a rottweiler easily...malamutes are one of the strongest dogs out there...I don't think we should be fighting any dogs though

he adores people but he's not overly friendly with other dogs but he's a rescue dog so we don't know what's happened in the past to make him that way ,or it just may be that he's just grumpy like that
