Not sure why, but the AI kinda derps out when trying to attack you. There's a sweet spot where you just outrange the tank hunter it seems. That coupled with the tank hunter AI just derping out being unable to move means you can just micro your comanches and kill them without resorting to some other hard counter unit (like rangers maybe?)
@@SketchTVGaming yea bro I figured that all the units are moving towards the supply copters at the bottom right of the map. they wanna attack the oil mine at the bottom right of the map they just pass the rocket launchers and comanches
You can't really control the comanche's flight height unfortunately. They normally try to fly a fixed height from the ground beneath them, though, so you can take advantage of that.
@@SketchTVGaming bro i just finished it with your start. but not with the airfield ending. I ended it with 9 particle canons and camped laser missiles at the middle of the map where there's a supply stash there. I planted like i line of laser missiles and behind them were avengers. for the nonstop air strike of helos and miGs while I farm my particle canons (instead of the airfield planes) thanks! ur vids are nice I'm glad I still updated on your youtube
All handled... sufficiently at least. 3 comanches on the right side + MDs. MDs in a building on the left side. The defense won't last past minute 20 or 25, but then again I don't need them by then because we would be already done. Edit: pathfinders to stop tank hunters. Migs hit the oils, so they're largely irrelevant.
No they don't take that path until about 9 minutes into the mission, by which time I don't need those guys around there anymore (at least with my latest strat).

How do you shoot with the comanches from longer range than rocket infantry? every time i tried a lost one heli against only one rocket launcher.
@yomauser I think the AI glitches out when your comanches are just in range. Not complaining though 😀
so the gla turret will only spawn once
Yeah, just gotta prepare for it after you make your strat center (or about 6:15 into the match whichever comes first)

This is hard mode? Where is the onslaught of relentless tanks, planes, helos, command center attacks, etc? Weird.
