- The future inheritance for those in Christ is much closer than many would think. The era of tranquility and peace that will be bestowed upon each child who calls upon His Name is also unimaginable in that we will be perfected & changed. Our capacity to think, imagine, see, hear and touch will also be enhanced. Most importantly; our capacity to love and receive love will be increased; making the things to come in the next life to be a truly extraordinary experience.
Of course; the decisions we make in this lifetime are truly reflective of what we will receive in the next. It doesn't take a righteous person to get to Heaven, but one who genuinely and continually repents and desires a relationship with the Father through Christ and the Holy Spirit. For we are not saved by works, but the grace of God; otherwise we shall boast (Ephesians 2:9.) The decision to follow Christ is far from an easy one. God doesn't promise a smooth flight, but He does guarantee a smooth landing. The question we have to ask internally is: do I want that smooth landing, and the Lord to guide and direct me along the harsh roads of this life? If we do; then Christ and His free gift of salvation are the answer.
I only have a few years left on this earth as I am old. I shall soon see my Savior face to face and see His love and feel His love for me as I run into his embrace. I love you Lord.

Its His love for each of us that allows us to serve Him more fully. As you get to know Him through prayer, reading His Word daily (I normally aim for a chapter each day) and meditating on Christ & His message of salvation, you will find increasing strength & peace in the Lord, and will serve with a greater passion. Don't be discouraged when you do fall (because you will, we all do), but repent and be encouraged to know that the Lord is there to grab your hand to lift you back up again because He loves you. I lost my mother 4 years ago and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her, but knowing she is saved gives me comfort. I try to live my life pleasing to the Lord I am not perfect but there are some boundaries I will never cross I have the Holy Spirit at one point in my life I didn't know the Holy Spirit was speaking to me but if he does you will never forget it it will come back to you when that issue occurs how he gave me a gut feeling and I didn't listen to it now I have learn to know the Holy Spirit better and I am hoping to see all my loved ones up there and also ancestors and I am sure all of our families are waiting for us like we experience the joy of a new birth and our family in the excitement this is something I am looking for to is to go there one day when he is ready for me to come I can't only imagine what it will be like I am looking forward to seeing Jesus until love with Heavenly Father forever like I said when the time is right I will try my hardest to be prepared and everyday I thank him for my blessings and ask him to forgive me of my sins he promised that he would as long as we don't repeat the same sentence but of course we will stumble through the day with anger a thought or something these are things I have to work on and stay close to the Lord try to wake up with him in the morning first thing my thoughts are with him and the last thing at night he does amazing things for us everyday just by keeping our family members well and our friends and people in general it bothers me when I watch the news and hear of a young person lose in their life or a car accident we have to be thankful for what we have and not what we don't have and that's all I want from him is the things he wants me to have nothing else he knows what we need he knows all about us he called us by our name before we were born and he does supply all of my needs and that's all that's important and we do need to pray for the world and everyone in it I believe that I will see a lot of my family members there least I am hoping that I think they were all pretty good people not perfect but they tried and they knew the Lord and Jesus Christ I am sure that they knew him and wanted to know him more and that gives me Comfort so yes I am hoping that they're all there

Hi SilverGirl. Your family has my prayers for Christ to show them His salvation, and have the opportunity to be saved in His Holy Name. Interestingly, my family is actually in a very similar situation in that they are non-believers, very worldly, and are mostly in their early 20's. This is a trend these days that I find with the younger generations, and it really is sad/tragic and brings to mind 2 Timothy 3. At 34 years of age, I struggle to find like-minded Christians my own age in church and abroad. They're out there, but they are fewer. We just need to keep praying for our brothers/sisters (regardless of age) and never abandon hope, for our Lord cares and loves us all compassionately beyond measure, as He loves each of your family members who are yet to receive Him.
