This plays like an offline 2000s MMO (which can be played online too of course) and it's a lot of fun. Apparently it's a single dev project, which makes it all the more impressive.

It's a fun game, and especially, everyone is wholesome when you find rhe right server.

The second I saw "chest" "belly" "bottom" sliders I paused and had to mentally prepare for the rest of the video

It's funny how the game hits you in the face with with chest slider, then proceeds to be a completely normal casual action game. Past character creation it's the players that make it explicit.
Right? I saw the gameplay first so it was quite a surprise haha

I can already tell how this comment section's gonna play out, but just to preface, yes it's a game targeted at people who like anthropomorphic characters. Yes it has some fairly suggestive designs, though there's nothing explicit, which the game even tells you about when you boot it up. There are also toggles that limit proportions or disable jiggle on player characters. No, you don't have to be a furry to enjoy it. It's a very fun game, and I'm excited to see more content get added down the line!

It's been told to me a few times that the game was originally going to be much more explicit than it is now, I also heard tonight that people were looking for the creators old nsfw art and couldn't find any since he's apparently deleted it? I'm not sure as I haven't checked myself of that, but if it's the case, I could not be happier since it'll continue to make this game much more approachable to the average player. I'm not really into it for any suggestive reasons, but I have to admit that the character designs (Sally and Angela mostly) are very compelling to me and I love everytime I have to go visit them, they've become my comfort characters, definitely Sally the most.
Well, I'm kinda glad the game isn't super explicit or I probably wouldn't have heard of it!
I kinda hate how much Ive enjoyed this game, cuz on one hand-
Its giving kinda nostalgic vibes. I used to play lots of maplestory ages ago,
and since then, havent really touched many rpgs- so its been fun to enjoy that sorta thing again.
Also met some unironically chill af people in online lobbies, its always fun to help with questing n such, these sorta old style games hold the coolest people it seems.
actually got some extra hours in just socializing, and vibin doing dungeon runs
on the other hand...

Glad to see you cover this game. I bought it the other day, made my character, and accidentally hit randomize. Needless to say, i still have not played the game yet. Looking forward to it though!
im not a furry, but this game is fun asf if you enjoy fast tight movement and combat, fun lvling, and thiccness then you are in the right place

It's weird to see you reviewing this game after watching you Dark Souls lore vids. Not that I'm complaining with my lvl. 18 Mystic Kubold. Also I think 3D Diablo might describe this game best at least gameplay wise.

Atlyss is just the outcome of when modern gamers look and learn about what it feels to play Phantasy Star Online and Spiral Knights.

Lord zuulneruda solo at levels 8 and 10 is absolutely intence.
Demo plays very differently cause you stuck alone in a multyplayer game.
Couldnt beat the first boss at level 8 , acidently left the dungeon , and had to come back at level 10 .
I didn't know there was a demo!
Hard agree on parental supervision advised because once this game has a full release dear lord the amount of NSFW mods this game is going to have.

Was unsure about this game at first, but the gameplay is solid and the atmosphere is really cool. Avoid certain servers because they can be lewd.
I am sure as Heck that when I play Atlyss, I WILL NOT Hyper(Certain word) the character I create.

It's fun but it's got two dungeons basically so it's like web fishing with sliders. I liked it but I refunded until he gets more content (it's one dev)
It's early access and as you say, one guy, so it's understandable there aren't tens and tens of hours of content for the time being. That's usually how EA games are right?
each dungeon has several difficulty options which completely change the way the dungeon is played, it doesn't just merely scale up the enemies health bars; also, there may only be 2 instanced dungeons atm (maybe 3? idk) but there are like 2 or more other open-world type dungeons that you can just take on in the open world. for $10 its really a no-brainer

@@SilverMont when you start a game on Pseudoregalia, and when you can move your character, walk Sybil around and use the free cam to look at her 🙂
