Could you possibly do a detailed video on how to safely string additional batteries to expand the capacity of this box.
Yeah, I bought this battery box and was able to add over 7,000wh of battery capacity to this unit using the Anderson input connectors!
So, that is three external boxes of 12v batteries in parallel with Anderson connectors and DC control boxes. Two are 1536wh and one is 1920wh, not to mention the 170ah (2176wh) battery installed in the box. Which is about eight batteries in total, so far!

When you are charging, do all of the batteries charge Simultaneously when hooked up
@@johnperry5960 The best that I can tell is, when charging once the main battery is filled up all the other batteries connected charge up until my charger turns off!
Also, you can slow charge or fast charge depending on if you're dealing with rolling blackouts.
I ordered the Licitti 1000 watt box on Sunday and received it on Tuesday! Shipping was $55 but it was extremely well package and it was shipped from Illinois, and I'm in Iowa.

Been doing this for several months now and it works great. I rotate four of these bad boys to offset the grid by powering my main frig, basement dehumidifier, man cave beer frig, etc. My only complaint, and it's me nitpicking, is the DC USB powers are auto-on. I know it drains very little, but I don't want any leech draw. I have to always remember to uncap the two rubber caps and manually power them off. Not a big deal even if you forget, but I'm OCD like that. Also, pro tip, do not buy those new 100ah lipo4 Minis... they are too tall for this battery box. You have to get the regular-sized 100ah batteries.

I ordered the 2000w inverter battery box. Took a while to receive it but it is soooooo sweeeeet! The endless possibilities with these battery boxes. Can Add more battery capacity , add more inverters if you want. Just have patience waiting for your boxes. Definitely worth it!

I want to order the 2000w box too. I can't get much info on it. It looks like it has only 1 AC outlet? That's OK I guess since I could plug in a power strip for multiple outlets. Does it have the standard cigarette lighter type 12v plug? I'm learning about these systems. I want to be able to charge with portable solar panels and an AC battery charger if possible. Would I need to buy special adapters to do that?

Ac receptacles are only rated for 1500 watts. The 2000 Watt box has only one AC receptacle, so it may not power the full power the inverter is rated for.
i bought one of these units and put a DIY 4-cell LiFePO4 pack with a JK BMS in it. one small hole needed for the JK BMS on/off switch and it works great.

did they send you the black plastic bms holder for your jk?
no, i didnt know there was one. i had to fabricate one to keep the BMS in place. i also used foam on the sides to keep the batteries from shifting around. but worth it for getting the added capacity.

Great video. That Midea A/C with inverter compressor is really impressive! Even a 1000W inverter can run it with no issue, I may buy one, I just wish they will release the one that also has heat pump.
They have a portable unit with heat amzn.to/3P2pAVi I have this one, but mine is a non-heat model so I can't attest how well the heat works, but the AC is amazing.

Thanks for describing this box. I have a couple of question. Since the Anderson connections (50 amp) (with clips) works both in and out. I know you put a 100-ah battery in the box. Can you attach with the clips to another 100-ah battery to double the amp hours of the box? (not the inverter) Will the box charge both batteries when attach a AC charger? (pass thru) How does the box know when to draw a charge from the extra battery to use? Or when the box knows when charge the extra battery attached to it?
Did you disconnect the 10amp mppt that's built into the box?

In the video you say that you have 170 amp hour battery installed in that battery box. I went back and looked at some of your other videos that feature that box and I don’t see anywhere that you mentioned the 170 ah battery that fits that box. What battery is it? Thanks you

Can I plug external battery into the 175amp Anderson connecter, for a total of 200Ah for more run time? If so how should I do that.
Yes, you can. You just need to wire an Anderson connector to the external battery (also might want to add an inline fuse), make sure the voltage of the internal, and external battery is close to the same voltage then plug it in, done. If in doubt, just fully charge both batteries before connecting.

What could you do to charge that 170 Ah battery in about 3 hours from 110 volts ac? (Im curious because my Ecoflow Delta 1300’s can charge from 0 to 100% in about 90 minutes from 110 volts ac.)
Use a 50A charger
@@BradCagle Does quick charging with a 50 amp charger ultimately shorten the life of the battery?
@@joeblow1942 Depends on the battery. Some will say recommended charge rate 20a, max charge rate 50a. If you see this then probably would shorten the life to charge at 50a every time.

Not sure what the point of this box is if you're adding an external m p p t controller?
It has a built in 10A MPPT, a 1000w inverter, and a wealth of DC power connections. I'm just showing how to expand the solar capability with an external 40A MPPT.

Which one do you prefer v1 or v2 ?
I think for the price V1 is hard to beat. Also with V2 you really need to buy their 280ah battery kit to get the most out of it. BTW They have a new model out that is a refresh of V1, I have one coming so you might keep an eye out for that review. Thanks

would both batteries need to be same SOC.?
Ideally you would want them to be the same SOC. However you could get by if they are close in voltage, as they would eventually become the same SOC as you charged.
