Introduction of Venom were one of the best episodes in Spiderman animated series. So expectations were quite high. But Sony ruined it with too many villains. There were absolutely no need of Sandman n Green Goblin (Harry). Venom alone was enough for whole movie.
I guess this fiasco was enough to stop the production.
