Access to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data and analytics is critical to several of Goldman Sachs’s businesses. To build simpler and faster ESG data pipelines, modernize an enterprise ESG data platform across the organization, and drive adoption across downstream consumers, Goldman Sachs leverages Legend, an open source data modeling paradigm, and Snowflake to create an internal ESG marketplace called ESG Beacon. Learn about the Goldman Sachs design approach to a firm-wide ESG data architecture, including how it is leveraging external data sourcing via Snowflake secure data sharing and enriching the data with its business domain expertise, and then serving it back to its internal clients.
