It's an interesting game for sure, was wondering what others thought of it, so it's nice to see a video of it. Also saw Vtubers seemed to have a chain reaction to it, but it's no Slay the Princess (which you could say is also somewhat of a personality test game/VN but you'll have to assess it yourself). That said this one game did make me tear up, that's a bit of a rough game even if it's short. I got, in order: Pacifist, Judge, Sage, Runner, and as opposite I got Hero. The latter is funny, but it's probably more that over the last years I grew aversion to being daring, and daringly stupid, after avoiding death a fair amount of times. Also, composite data shows different results, and I'd have thought it would be accounted for on a final recalculation, but that's probably because it averages all three playthroughs and the deviation data shows people on average go wild on the third playthrough. Is it accurate? Probably to a point ― to the now at least, like all else here. But I don't know how accurate it will be in 5 or 10 years, depending on where life leads us.

I heard about the game but never really checked it myself because of the title haha. I agree that this kind of personality test, or maybe any personality test, is just momentary. Humans are dynamic beings, but it's cool to see where our personalities are leaning to. But yes, this game is a cool experience and the story & presentation are touching too!
@@SleepyMortal Slay the Princess being a personality test is how I ended up seeing it anyway after watching many playthrough over time. You can see what kind of people choose what and how they respond, especially in the early parts. Since it's all ambiguous, you're basically just judging a vibe check, but I find it pretty funny how it all fits, and then you get to compare with your own experience; nothing on paper or anywhere much like this game, but yeah it's a fun one. There's a big update coming soon-ish (iirc), if you'd still be interested by then. Refind Self felt very Japanese-like with an equally bittersweetly familiar ending they seem to like to do over there (or at least there's a sense of familiarity from how I experienced creations from this country over the years). Something real under the presentation, I don't know how they managed to intertwine the personality game, I'd think it's just a novelty thing to sell the game but somehow they kinda nailed that too (at least it's gonna make you question the current iteration of yourself). So far, to me, this game seems to be one that not only hits you when you play it, but also grows on you afterwards.

Personally I would have loved for you to go in-depth about your experience with the game, why you made certain choices that you did, and maybe times that you couldn't make a decision. But, obviously that would have given the game away, which you probably didn't want to do. Great job tho, you got a new sub!

Mine is quite accurate I got planner, philosopher then sage and my opposite is hero, I guess because I am extremely cautious about my every choice and always think through every action. It describes me quite accurately,

Loved this game a lot, and the ending made me cry inside. I got leader, solo player (even as my fourth personality), and philosopher, leaving me with samurai as the distant pers. Even if my results were deleted due to reinstalling the game :"v I can say they were pretty accurate-except, or idk, leader personality. Solo player and Philosopher are all me. I enjoy solo activities or adapt stuff for myself only, and stop and think my decisions or anything that happens in my life. Yet Leader is between "yes" and "nah." People hear me when I speak, and I usually tend to hold the spotlight for as long as I feel comfortable with it. People do seek me for guidance for some things, but not everything. I usually go like the underdog or someone who stays in the shadows, and sometimes what I say is diregarded or not taken into consideration. And samurai as my distant personailty... yah, discipline isn't my forte. So at least for me, it was pretty accurate.
personally i got judge at main, solo player and martial artist as auxiliaries, artisan as hidden and clown as distant and even if i *think* i could identify myself in other traits, i found it pretty accurate about what i could tell on me. but still i had a small doubt on martial artist XD, loved a lot the game by the way
I got clergy first, solo player and planner second and third, samurai fourth and clown as my most distant. I don't agree with some things that i got, i'm waay too dependant on other people to be solo player and way too much of an egoist for clergy, i do agree with planner and samurai though.
My first and second playthrough gave me some inaccurate results too, but the third playthrough made the final result better haha But yeah, that's the nature of personality quizzes I guess. There are so many aspects to consider, even things like the physical/mental condition when taking the quiz
I feel YT algorithm has changed a bit, it's been pushing a lot of smaller creators with actual discussions/commentary.
