I forgot about that angry commenter hahahaha. Proudly over 30 and talking about books on the internet. Your energy in this video is fire. I am going to rewatch this immediately.
Haha this was funny to watch, you should film twice in a day more often 😂 One of my resolutions is not to take on too many challenges, but this is tempting!! Happy to pick my tbr spin book today 😊 Tempted by the big books challenge too... Aaah!
Such a good list! I also haven't read Perks of Being a Wallflower lol. The New Jim Crow is excellent. Definitely think its a must-read for everyone in the United States.
Oh my gosh, you MUST have a wall of books "somewhere", cause there's not enough room on the little shelf behind you. Would you ever do a library tour video?
haha That is actually my only book spot! (With the exception of my Vonneguts that are on display in the living room). I keep very few of the books I read and typically only if I would reread them. I would definitely consider doing a tour, but the shelves are likely switching up very soon, so I'll probably wait a bit :)
I was wondering if you've read As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow... It takes place during the Syrian Revolution centring a Hijabi Muslim girl ,who is a first year pharmacy student promoted into a seasonal surgeon (due to the lack of doctors) and this is book about grief and PTSD combining elements of magical realism as she fights to get out of her home country. There was only one major plot twist in the book but I failed to recognise and mostly everyone is talking about how they failed as well...so I wanted to know your opinion about it!❤

I so sympathize with the pain of “I’ve filmed two videos today and my brain is melting” 😂
YES. It's crazy how little it takes for me to stop making any sense 😂

haha I have a hard time saying no to challenges as well! But I think this year, I've got a manageable list... hopefully 😂
The Golden Compass is my all-time favorite book, I hope you get to it this year!
Me too! I feel like I really missed out since I never read it growing up, but I'm excited to fix that haha

Thank you! I'm definitely looking forward to understanding that history better in The New Jim Crow
Oh that is exciting. Interesting selection of books I wonder what you will get :)

My first two spin books are Small Pleasures which I've read and The Shadow King which I have not.
Nice! I hope you enjoy the reread and the new read!
Okay what are the odds: you have GROUNDSKEEPING on your BookTube spin list and I have it on my TBR Spin list. Weirdddddd.
Did you see KDbooks' review of the Three Body Problem? On the other hand, maybe it's better to wait until after you've read the book.
haha I have not. Once I know for sure I want to read a book, I try to avoid all reviews of it (but I have a general idea of his feelings on it lol)
