Hi James. I have also a skid steer and kverneland remote wrapper. I bought this wrapper last year. I had very soft not packed well bales baled and wilted for 2 days. I draped the bales back to the yard. When I opened them this year they are absolutely soken wet. Very dark silage, with not a great smell. They were Loaded with a spike also. I can’t understand why. I just noticed your bales aren’t packed tight
Too wet probably. Got second fermentation. There is sweet spot of moisture. Too low you get white mold, too wet it won't get enouch acidic and process starts over. Bales shouldn't get too hot inside. Use microwave owen test to get moisture reading. Take grass, weigth it, dry in microwave oven multiple times until it won't get lighter on weigth and then calculate moisture percent of how much water weigth lost by drying. Also add netwrap layers to keep bales tight
