Greg is the best. Nice and genuine. Plays so solid and smooth. His drumming is wicked awesome greasy good with a stamp all his own. 😂 Thankyou for being so kind to all of us! ✌
Man, the host's energy is contagious. I am smiling every time he speaks for no particular reason. Greg Morrow is such an icon, wonderful drummer and seems like a really kind and humble guy. Thanks for having him on, I really enjoyed the conversation.
Greg and Big Dave sold me my Aquamarine White Ludwig Octa-Plus!!! It was was so great...probably 1976 or so. Strings and Things on Cooper. Classic, iconic place with super great people - like GREG!
Greg has been a long time influence for me as a drummer. I was excited to see Greg on drums on the recent Bonamassa Tour. Pat, you did a great interview with Greg. Thanks for being such a positive role model for younger players by giving credit to those who preceded us and showing respect for them. Well done!
I first saw Greg play a live show in 1988. I had heard him on some recordings and I admit going into the show I wasn’t expecting much needless to say I was literally blown away ( being a drummer myself) hearing him ending some of his fills and rolls on the upbeat and continue without hesitation in the groove…. From then on I’ve been a fan. One of the best and most underrated musicians of our time. 🙌
I had never heard of Greg until today 4/10/24. I was just watching the Amy Grant Lead Me On concert from the late 80s and she introduced him on drums. I always look up the musicians playing when I watch old concerts and this video came up when I googled him. I will def be watching and listening to more of his stuff!
Very humble such a great fella been a fan for a bit. Name drops Eddie Byers from what I read friends with Chad Cromwell Gee whiz! Almost Home by Mary Chapin Carpenter is some tasty grooves might I say!!! WTF Strawberry Wine also these songs are my go to jams Outstanding!!!
Greg and I played in the sands of time together, and also the Arthur paying group, Charlie yarwood . Brian on guitar, can't no longer keyboards, Jimmy Harris on bass . Gary Liston on vocals, Memphis Tennessee, in Raleigh
Greg I'm sure you'll get these comments, we worked with Deana Carter. On 4th of July at studio City, at the Paramount studios, with a group called The riders of the purple sage, which I'm still in, but I know the guitar player who played on the tracks with you in the studio, from LA, that was Cary parks . I'm still with the writers of the purple sage, headed back from Memphis to do some shows in LA
I just lisyened to Van Zant - "Get right with the man" album today and wondered who played on it. The drums sounded so good on the album. If there was any info what he was using then, I'd be interested in knowing more about it.
Not many albums you will hear that don't have Greg on them! If you like Luke Bryan, Cheryl Crow, ect he probably recorded the tracks!! Awesome drummer and human!

Beautiful playing and words. What a guy!
One of the most humble and talented people on this planet.
Love ya, cousin Greg!
Greg is the man!
He has such a nice touch. He also is right on top of the beat, which is so Nashville. I've been a fan since the early 80's D&K stuff.
Fantastic!!
Love it! Greg is an Awesome Drummer!

I saw greg back in the 80's with Amy and he was AMAZING !
The ZZ Top song he talked about is amazing
Such a nice guy and a great, great player. He's covered it all! Anyone know what cymbals these might be?
Fatback groove master for sure.
This was fun! Thanks

This guy has some severe Stank in his Funk! Wow. He's a White Clyde Stubberfield. This is my first hearing of him, means Ill be looking him up more.
The Death of Disco! You and Nik had a competitive nature on that song !

Fun Fact: Hollywood Nights was two separate full kit drum tracks.
Dunno what it is , but there’s something very special about his playing. His time is just ridiculous
