    When I played league as a teenager the thing that hurt the most and I mean genuine agony was a clash of heads.... I can't imagine how painful it is for the big guys who play professionally

    are they fucking mad letting him play on, full credit to him wanting to play on like a proper tough nut, but fuck me he doesn't know where he is. The coaches have a duty of care to their players

    When I first watched this I was so impressed by the display of toughness, but looking back at it now knowing what I know about concussions, I'm bloody horrified. He should have been on medical suspension not playing the rest of the game.

    when I watch stuff like this I'm glad there are concussion protocols now. These blokes will stay on the pitch if you ask them to, but they have lives, family to look after and years ahead of them after they retire. It's a total disgrace to let someone who was almost foaming at the mouth stay on.

    Can't believe they let him keep playing. That would never be allowed to happen now.

    I don't think Graham was particularly bothered about the head clash, it was the knees in the ribs or leg in the follow up tackle

    I got tackled of luke Robinson when are schools played each other in 1995/96 or something he tackled me that furiously it winded me and when I got my breath back I thought to myself that Luke Robinson was going to turn pro.

    When was the last time you attended a strongest man weight lifting competition? Have you ever even watched one? Do the competitors look like a rugby players? However a front linesman in the NFL does. That's not obese. If you think otherwise, then you need to up your biology education. Huge necks, large chest and arms. Lots of mass muscle weight (not pretty boy Arnold Schwartsnegger like). Their job is to block, slam, plow through and wrestle down the opponents.

    If you would actually learn the details of gridiron instead of making silly presumptuous about it, then perhaps you can offer intelligent criticism of the game instead of these shallow minded comments. But until then, its better you stay quite and let people think you are stupid then to open your mouth and prove them right. BTW! Ruby legend Martin Johnson spoke highly of AF and said rugby fans shouldn't underestimate its high level contact. They have no idea the power of an AF player!

    seriously? look at the hits in american football if you want to see "hard as nails"

    Youre aware the reason they wear pads is that without them people were getting killed right? Its not a question of whos tougher, its the fact that in rugby opposing players are generally moving along the same lateral plane as each other, where in american football they are moving right at each other. Combine that with the fact that american football players are bigger and faster than rugby players, and i think my point has been proven.

    You don't know alot about football do you ? Have you even played it ?
    And as for stamina I would expect them to as a football player you tend to do more power intensive training than cardio because it tends to be more important.

    Heavily exaggerated! The time between snaps in NFL is 40 seconds not 2 minutes. Personally I would like to see it closer to 30 seconds, but irrelevant. When you stop being closed minded and relating it to Rugby and start seeing it as a fresh new sport, you'll start to understand its methods. logic and what is going on. I have a lot of Rugby friends from Aussie to Brit who actually have come to enjoy it. Just the same, I like Rugby too.

    American football is a big game of throw and catch with breaks every two minutes its shite end of discussion

  • @davevak
    @davevak 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    lol...shutup.....those guys wear so much padding, I'm surprised it's classed as a contact sport. Remove the pads and helmets and those tough football players would not know what to do.

    American football is boring fact who wants to watch a shite game that stops and starts every two minutes I'd rather watch football
