I share my interview experience from online Kira Assessment UMN and online and in-person SIU-SDM interviews. ¿Cómo confirmar el título internacional de odontología en los EE. UU.?

After recording this video I received one more interview invitation from VCU! I was already in the program and didn’t attend it. Anyway, remember that you might receive an invite almost a year after you applied!
It’s so nice of you to share this experience with us❤. It’s like having a friend talking to me and I benefit a lot from it. Thank you🥰
Thank you so much!

Hello Wisteria, thanks for sharing.Would you mind sharing more about your profile and helped you stand out in your application?
It’s a good question. Maybe I will make a whole video about this.
Thank you very much 😊
This is such a nice video! Thank you so much for sharing your story 😊 If I may ask, what procedures did you have to do at the bench test for SIU? Thank you ❤
They have a list of procedures on their website, any of them could be asked during the bench test. In my case it was: ceramic crown prep, composite filling class 2 and class 4 restoration.
@@WisteriaDentistry Thank you! 😊
Can you please tell us more about bench what preps we should expect?
It was ceramic crown prep tooth #29, composite class 2 fill #30, #8 class 4 restoration.
@@WisteriaDentistry thank you !
What did they ask you to do in the bench test??
It was ceramic crown prep, composite class 2 and class 4 restoration.
Hello, wanna ask if the GPA matter in the admission process, of you have a great TOFEL and INBDE?
Of course it matters, but it’s not the only decisive criteria. They evaluate the overall profile and look for a well rounded candidate. I’ve heard multiple people got accepted with a GPA below 3, but they had other accomplishments in their profile.
Thanks for that, i mean i have a GPA of 2.6 approximately, but i have very good tofel and INBDE passed from the first time, do you think there's a chance?
Yes, you definitely stand a good chance. However, your profile has to be versatile and unique. Make sure it’s full of volunteering/work and leadership activities related to dentistry that show your dedication to the profession. Also, pay attention to school’s requirements on their website, a few schools specify that they require a GPA 3 or above, I wouldn’t waste money on them. Last but not least, SOP and school related SOP are one of the most important selective criteria, so work hard to make them to stand out.
How long was the SIU interview (not bench test) and how was it?
It was 30 min per person. Very warm and welcoming.
