Sound Test: Testing the Noise Level of the Coway Airmega 300

- We tested the noise levels reached by the Coway Airmega 300 air purifier when moving from mode to mode.
Coway Airmega has five fan modes: Smart, Sleep, Low, Medium and High. Noise level is nearly silent at lower speeds. Max noise at highest setting is 43. 2 dB.

Mine is slightly making strange low level noise in sleep and 1st speed and the fan inside wobbles slightly. I am not sure if that is normal.

@@noideaatallsorryI returned it at the end and bought another brand (Optima Air cleaners from Germany), which was in terms of noise superb. I had the Coway brand new.
@@TheXone7 yeah brand new can be defective. I just got mine and it’s working and quiet like a charm. You did open it all up and take the wrap off the filters right? I heard some people actually forget to do so surprisingly.
@@noideaatallsorry Yes I did all that but the casing itself was causing vibration and the fan inside was not properly balanced.
@@TheXone7 okay, so I’ve been monitoring my daily since day one. I have never turned it off even once ever since I had turned it on. It’s on Smart mode ever rinse. Blue to purple and then blue constantly that’s it. No sounds at all. Air sound fires off when purple. No wobbles, no vibration noises. I’m so shocked how silent this purifier is it’s almost a little questionable lol. I’m about to get the same second one for upstairs now.. let me give it one more week.
I have a air mega 200 . But i have a question. Do they really work ?? I mean how would I know the difference of a room with an air purifier and a room without an air purifier
Deffo work. Hepa will pull out particles from air and activated charcoal will work with the odors and gasses.
Idk why but my Sleep Mode fan speed is the noisiest of them all, it reverberates across the whole house
Strange maybe it's a fault, I would reach out to Coway. Let me know if have any issues getting this resolved.
@@HouseFresh I moved it to a different surface in the house, that seemed to fix the issue 👍
@@ChristianNorge ah yeah that makes sense must have caused some sort of vibration . Glad you got it fixed. How you finding your Coway 300 apart from that?
@@HouseFresh With the reverberation solved, it's really quiet. Although it does have Wifi + app connectivity, I like that you can operate it without the app. The smart mode is set and forget basically.
