That’s a big river and a huge beach for the interior of the country!
It's interesting to see my city from a foreigner's point of view. The first part is the core of the downtown, the humidity and heat don't allow the paint on the facades to last, which is why they don't look very nice. Be careful, Manaus is not that safe anymore, there are some muggers observing in some areas. "Largo do São Sebastião" in the downtown is also cool, there is a well done "Tacacá" there, and the "Tambaqui de Banda" is great to taste amazonian fishes.

Excellent content my friend. Manaus has a lot of charm even the downtown. I really enjoyed the Mercado Municipal Adolpho Lisboa when I was there too. By the way, that beach in Manaus is just not that great man 😆 I know it's man made but still. I guess better than no beach. The girls in Manaus are super friendly and some of the prettiest in Brazil. (my opinion)

Concordo e pensar que Manaus já teve o maior PIB do Brasil. O centro tá largado, mas de uns 2 anos pra cá, tem melhorado.
Nasci em Manaus mas tenho vergonha do momento atual desta cidade. Pobre, suja, desorganizada, quente, sem estrutura, sem saneamento básico, etc....é tanta coisa ruim que fica até chato. O pior é o próprio amazonense defendendo...sem perspectiva.
Más administrações que vem de muito tempo! É complicado mesmo a situação atual de Manaus.

No. The most similar to it is cabs, uber apps and motorcycles. Just like US and Europe.
But buses go everywhere, so it's the main transport all over the country. I dont think there'sa road in Brazil that a bus can't enter.
Actually, half the population has a car in their houses, and 25% has a bike.

na verdade os manauaras são deleichados, aqui temos otimos lugares foda que a maioria não tem costume de cuidar do que temos. ai sujam tudo a cidade em si era pra ser linda, mas as pessoas não valorizam o que tem.
Isso é o reflexo do povo e politicagem que não está nem aí pra cidade.
