@ssteel31682 thank ou for watching and for the kind comment! I'm so glad it helped! And yes it's important to save money these days, it's hard keeping up with bills today! Thank you once again you made my day!
Just would like to point a weird quirk for anyone having a time like mine ;) If you have the parking brake/e-brake engaged at any depth, there is a e-brake system right next to the caliper retainer bolt, and while it is ENGAGED it disallowed me from taking the top caliper retainer bolt off while unscrewed. You must have is disengaged to get it off :) Other than that these videos have been a true godsend and I cannot thank you guys enough.
@@NightInstincts27 yes i did have it disengaged, i should have mentioned that, im glad the videos helped, we try to cover everything without making the video to long and boring or confusing lol. Thank you for watching and taking the time to send such a great comment! We really appreciate your support, we are just a small channel trying to get some better filmng and editing equipment so we can reach more poeple and do better videos! Thank you so much again!
@@NightInstincts27 thank you very much!! Ireally appreciate that! YES 100% I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT! very sharp! I try to cover everything, and i appreciate when someone catches something i missed! I will include that in my next brake video, and id love to give a shout out to yu for pointing that out! Thank you for your support and awsome comment!!!
Man im so glad it helped! This is exactly why we do this! When i was younger i bought cheap cars to get to school and work an i couldnt afford to pay to fix them so... lol
I clean the hub surface so its completely flat, no shimmy in the rim, the lube just keeps rust down on that surface. Good question thank you for watching!
Hi, nice to meet you. I'm about to change the brake pads while watching your great video, but I noticed that you didn't open the brake fluid bleeder valve. Is it always necessary to open it or not?
@calimaxi1 depends on the car and what you're doing. Some do take i off(it's not wrong to do so). i dont usually take it off as i do one caliper at a time. If you had the car on a hoist and removed and then compressed all 4 calipers at the same time, then it would be an issue.
