- Hey Tribe!! In today's video, my Fiance and I are telling the highly requested story of just our journey together. How we first met 11years ago as 12 years olds in high school and our bumpy ride as friends, lol. We tried to include as many photos as possible!
Our story, which we like to consider a Netflix series is really a testimony that speaks loudly about what happens when you let go and let God write your love story. Just discovered your channel. Refreshing to see a young, SDA, Christian couple publicly declaring and living their faith out loud aka online. I first saw Xaundre about a year or two ago preaching on EJC virtual church where I volunteered as a moderator. I was so inspired by his cogency, his conviction and credibility as a young male Christian. Felt he was such a rarity. Never saw him again til now. Think I saw my lady online - could have been a WJC photo on Instagram but didn't know you had a vlog. Nice to know you two got married and I'm now learning about your love story. I sent a link of your beautiful wedding to my daughter in Florida and told her "this is what I want for you". Chatting with her the next day and she had already binged you guys and could tell me lots more about you than I knew. Lol. Said Xaundre looked familiar too. You two are so grounded I really would love you to do a chat with your parents. I want to know what they did to raise you both so well. I'm especially interested in your early spiritual and academic training ground. I want this content because I want other parents to know how it's done and there's not enough info on successful models of SDA Christian parenting and their best practices out here. It could be something along the lines of a 'How to design God-fearing children that increase their chances of growing up as Christian adults'
- kinda sit-down with the parents. I hope you can do this one day soon. I'll be looking for this video. Besides I'd like to meet your parents. Saw them briefly in your engagement or is it the wedding video? But I want these Christian parenting success tips that have made you the success story you are. At a time like this in Jamaica the church needs to put forward its model and you two are great posterboy/girl for just that. Glad you've made this brave snd progressive step to share your selves and faith with the world. I'm trying a thing over on my channel too - it's a vodcast - I'm experimenting and it's not easy, but I want to share my faith and the gospel of Jesus

So responsible at an early age. Remember your outcome most of the times had to do with the Godly foundation you were raised on. If parents showed you love and raised you well, most times even if its one parent, Your outcome should be positive. That is how I see you both.

I'm going through something similar to this right now. And watching this season I have learn that I mustn't give up on him. I have known this young man over the past years, we went to prep school together but we weren't in the same grade. We started dating in 2017 and things were going good until he left Jamaica in 2018 (My Gosh) that's when every thing started to fell apart. He started to text me when he feels like, and when I would ask him what is the problem he would tell me he has exam and school and he cannot talk to me right now. We text every day now we are also good friends and we both are Adventist and trying to get closer to God.
Getting closer to God is very pivotal in these moments especially . Because you can get caught up in another person's world and their emotional baggage or situation that you lose out on your identity in Christ and the special relationship that you have with Him. This is what you'll need as the foundation of any relationship you go in. Thanks for sharing!
