Even if the judges didn’t know what Eureka’s story/motivation was, there was something so genuine and raw in the last 30seconds of Eureka’s performance. Undeniable. And you can see it written all over Ru’s face. No discredit to Silky, whatsoever - but it’s moments of honesty like this in any performance (drag or otherwise) that really reels me in.
Eureka revealing she’s wearing her mother’s life alert while having to chant “Since You Been Gone” over and over then breaking down and altering the meaning of the song in memory of her mother is the sweetest single moment in Drag Race Herstory and I’m here for it. No stunts, no gimmicks, no props, just a person standing on stage while performing from their grief and still broken heart 💔🥺
I don’t think anyone who didn’t listen to the queens’ explanation would understand the meaning of both performances. Eureka looked like she’s just wearing some necklace and Silky’s looked like a late and failed reveal. I’m nervous for the result!

She didn't put on a costume and use props in a way that made her internal narrative obvious on stage. The only reason we knew she was thinking about missing her Mom was because she said so in her confessional. The raw emotion on her face and in her movements worked well with the song and she slayed.
I get Eureka was emotional about her Mom, but this song isn't about being sad, it's about celebrating not being in a toxic relationship and moving on from that, not about the death of someone. Eureka's performance doesn't match the lyrics. Silky's does, even with the reveal malfunction, as it depicts her mother breaking up with toxic foods and moving forward with weight loss to be healthier.

I was never worried for Eureka, she objectively should’ve won season 10 after beating Aquaria in that final lipsync! Eureka can lipsync the house down! She’s an amazingly talented lipsyncer! I was worried cause silky has won so many in a row it might seem cheap for her to fall at the last hurdle... which would be unfair on Eureka’s chances. Still, I’m so glad she slayed it! Genuine raw emotion and embodiment of a song is something you don’t really see in many drag queen lip syncs I’ve noticed. Local and Drag Race. They always have the gowns down, the make up, beautiful. But the performance... so-so.

"SHANTAY, YOU BOTH STAY!" - Mama Ru Eureka FINALLY had an outstanding performance this season! BUT Silky's creativity, performances and integrity this episode have truly exhibited Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent! They gave two very different performances. Ru cannot dismiss all Silky did just because Eureka finally had a heartfelt breakthrough.
Eureka is underrated by the fandom especially by Twitter. She’s one of the strongest lip syncers from Drag Race and always turns it. She honestly should’ve won S10, everyone at the finale said she beat Aquaria in that first lip sync
As much money as RPDR and WOW will make off of the episode (including TH-cam views), which was carried by Silky, they can afford to give her ten grand per win.
Eureka coming back is likely the best case scenario here. Silky finally gets her redemption for this top notchc entertainment and probably a spot on a future season without having to deal with more fandom negativity and hate about her coming back after missing so many weeks. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
After every queen Silky sent home, in the end I felt she got a little too confident she got it in the bag only for Eureka pretty much gobbled her up in this showdown. This is the first lipsync ever where I really felt things. Back when queens do emotional song lipsyncs I am wowed by their faceography and emotions but never enough to move me (maybe because I know they are just performing) but this one, oh boi Eureka is making me feel love for her mother too.
Eureka won this battle in my opinion however I really want Silky to get back in the game. It’s hard not to root for her after winning 6 back to back lip sync battles . I hope they bring them both back.

Eureka killed it! I think she won. Her performance was everything!!! That being said at least Silky proved how awesome she is when she’s being herself. She was kinda meh this season, except in The Game With In A Game where she was on fire.
There was something so touching about Eureka's emotions. It was there for Silky as well, but we as viewers only understood the story because she told us in that confessional. While Eureka's confessional also made it clear, we could already take a guess since they had the life alert and their emotions were just so strong. Eureka won this lipsync hands DOWN and I'm 90% sure she's returning, but it also doesn't feel right to send Silky home after all the lipsyncs she went though!

Eureka is underrated by the fandom especially by Twitter. She’s one of the strongest lip syncers from Drag Race and always turns it. She honestly should’ve won S10, everyone at the finale said she beat Aquaria in that first lip sync

Eureka coming back is likely the best case scenario here. Silky finally gets her redemption for this top notchc entertainment and probably a spot on a future season without having to deal with more fandom negativity and hate about her coming back after missing so many weeks. I felt Eureka's emotions my gosh. I got goosebumps at the end.
Except...it was the wrong emotions. Being sad and upset (about the passing of her mother) doesn't match the emotions of the song, which are happy and relieved about moving on from a toxic relationship. Silky's performance was sloppy and odd but she had the right idea (crushing the chips, moving on from a toxic relationship with unhealthy eating).

This is the first lipsync ever where I really felt things. Back when queens do emotional song lipsyncs I am wowed by their faceography and emotions but never enough to move me (maybe because I know they are just performing) but this one, oh boi Eureka is making me feel love for her mother too.
Eureka won this battle in my opinion however I really want Silky to get back in the game. It’s hard not to root for her after winning 6 back to back lip sync battles . I hope they bring them both back.

There was something so touching about Eureka's emotions. It was there for Silky as well, but we as viewers only understood the story because she told us in that confessional. While Eureka's confessional also made it clear, we could already take a guess since they had the life alert and their emotions were just so strong. Eureka won this lipsync hands DOWN and I'm 90% sure she's returning, but it also doesn't feel right to send Silky home after all the lipsyncs she went though!
