Came for the injection molding, stayed for the dance vibes.
this really made me laugh

Hahaha right,
The best animation to explain how injection molding works so far! thanks for the great job

I’m a retired injection mold maker, worked 37 years in the trade, built many die cast aluminum dies as well.
I want Small information can chat you sir
Can you share your number
Muhammed Ashiq sorry, no.
👍great injection mold maker, while I am just to step into injection mold industry😀
Love this I've been a material handler for a year now for recto moulded products and always wanted to see how the process actually works
Thanks, a very good example to understand injection moulding
This background music is amazing . My teacher at school was dancing to it . XD

Great Video! If you are in the UK I would recommend Sabre Plastics Tooling for injection mould tools. Great team with quick lead-times and competitive prices.
I liked the music - very upbeat
Im a mold maker it's cool to see how our product is used 👍
Short, sweet, and complete
I'm watching it for work, they're training me to become a molder
Que buen video, pero donde sale el profe Javier?
Si si ¿donde esta?
very detailed explanation. as a professional plastic injection mold and die casting tool manufacturer in China, this is very small and simple tools example we made much more bigger and much more complex tools. anyway this is awesome.
I'm back here again for the music.
This is the best and fastest explanation! Thanks!
i have no idea what's happening, just grooving to the music.
hahahahaha

I worked in injection molding in the seventies and eighties. A lot more automation now, a lot more rules, both safety and sexual harassment on the job. I was involved in some pretty wild stuff on the graveyard shift.
tenia muchas dudas con respecto a la boquilla . ya que como es que carga nuevamente el tornillo pero el video me resolvio todas las dudas , gracias .
Beautiful. I also once wanted a injection molding machine, since then I started manufacturing. it's mesmerizing
Do you have a manufacturing business? Or is a hobby?

cool
tqvm, but I think the screw should be in a full forward position initially, and pushed backwards whilst building the shot by the dragged material during plasticating.
This was so easy to understand, thank you so much!
Why doesn’t the liquid spill in the dosing process? 1:43
because the Liquid (melted plastic granulate has been injected through a gate point on the mold itself)
Sometimes it actually does, it depends on the viscosity of the mixure, if it is very oil heavy then its likely to spill a bit. But its not too bad, you just do one shot with 95% percent amount and the next one will be fine.
@@Britishblue. what it actually is the manufacture of tip of injection?
there is back pressure setting
The outside surface of the part does not seem to be angled. How do you ensure that the part is not stuck to the mold on injector/hopper side?
I am not doubting that this will work in real life, but I don't know why it works without an angled surface in this case...
understood......simple yet enough (I think).....thanks.....u got a new subscriber.......
A very good and helpful presentation of Injection molding.
How does the melted product get passed the “non-return valve”, please? Great viddy, thank you for posting!
The “non-return valve” has indentations or better known as flutes that the plastic squeezes through as the screw is turning. It is then pushed forward by the screw like a syringe to the mold and cooled.
SoloSoGreedy - wonderful, thank you!
@@solosogreedy
In that case the animation is wrong. Or am I wrong?
1:14 You didnt show how the molted plastic can even get past the head on the auger. You show the plastic having the magical properties of moving through solid objects
I'm sure the head has ports through it and the ports are probably one-way type check valves. Or maybe the head itself is a spring-loaded one-way valve. This coming from a hydraulic engineer.
Well noticed. The injection screw in this configuration does not allows the material to flow, it has to move back to allow the material to flow through the selling ring.
And at the end the burn of plastic is stored in which tank?
Hot runner molds do not have any left over burnt plastic or runner system. Non hot runner systems don't have any burnt plastic either, just a runner system that has to probably be sent to regrind.
It is purged out
(heated/cleaning out)
Left to cool before the puddle is removed into a proper receptive area (trash bin) in which the hopper is cleared of the colored material pellets and prepared for the next job....this is usually done by the floor/shift technicians, not an operator.
Is it possible to make any mold of any size or you just making the injection with ready molds with fixed sizes ?
They're fixed molds which can be swapped out based on the part being made.
Design & manufacture corresponding molds for different parts, injection molding by using proper size injection machines.
Do you allow me to use this video in an educational manner? I would remove sound and speak to explain this process. It'll be in Dutch.
You can probably use it. In most educational uses, the creator doesn’t even know if you use their video, and almost all TH-cam videos are fair game.
Anyone here from school????

how do you not sell videos worldwide?? you don't have to pay shipping lol
I have the same question.
How to do this please tell i am injection molding videi creator
Do you make videos of Transfer and compression molding?
Can you share with me the 3D simulation software you use?
Thanks you !
Great video. Does anyone know what the song is called? Thank you
Maya Bay (Original Mix) Keith Harris
And now all that you need is a German tool maker.
The other type of "Press" skips the screw (expensive) and uses a plunger to push the melted plastic into the mold.
what are charges for one minute animation clip?
Yall are here studying at school I bet lol
lol shut up
Yep, using this video for a technology project tbh
Yep tech homework writing an essay
yup
Nice, but where is the teacher javis
No entender ingles :(
nice! how do you make these kinds of animations??? Did you make the 3d model on some software?
Idk why but the last part is so satisfying!
Love the way this video was uploaded 4 years ago but everyone’s here now 😭 gcse engineering anyone? 😀
gcse design and technology gang
Muito bom, só faltou demonstrar o funcionamento da retenção na Extrusora no momento da injeção.
Great animation. Does anybody know if the left over plastic can be fed again into the machine?
yes it can, since it is thermoplastic which is used in this process, so one can heat the left overs and do the process again :)
yes, we can support you if you need assistance
@@alisas9851 do you have any information on injection of polyphenylene sulfide?
Daniel, contact me at alisa@toolmolds.com, we will support you for your question
Hello, is the machine capable of heat-sealing the top cover to the down part and the cost ?
Woww esta genial, se lo pondré a mi hijo para que pueda estudiar mejor. Muy buen contenido.
This is hype. My injection molded glow sticks are out and about
Nice animation and music!
When your comment section is full of Indian guys asking for your phone number or random people/companies promoting their channels
Big Sus because indians are desperate people
The Trust they need that open bob
I searched for injection molding but i typed mistakenly - injection dancing, and this came over!
Bro I came to learn about the process, wtf are these comments lmao 😭😭😭😭
We “bought” the tool when we made a run of 10k of a 1” x 1” plastic grinding pad to grind up weed. Each unit was .08 and they charged us $4500 for the tool. I want the grinder to be made in the US, how hard is it for them to ship the tool and then find an American manufacturer to use the tool to avoid another big charge.
you paid for a metal mold, this machine they likely already had, they can ship you the mold, useless without the machine
Indeed, It will be more economical to produce in your local injection molding factory if your part's volume is large.
Is the worm screw the same as the one used in the extrusion process?
yes both are archimedian screws

Nice video for understanding injection molding process
It is easy to understand for fresh man, good work.
Good video, marked. we are the injection mold tool maker, it's good to understand
That music though lol
I will use it for my new business :)))
Hi Tronicarts,
What kind of animation did you use? Thank you.
What kind of question is this?
How does the molten plastic cool so fast? Is there a liquid nitrogen piping system?
No. Its just water or oil.
Using water cooler.
That's something that's not covered. The screw works just as much with pressure as well as heat. The pressure keeps it liquid at the end. It cools real quickly.
What's the name of the song? I like it!
Great job! Congratulations
CAN YOU MENTION SOFTWARE THAT YOU HAD USED IN THIS VIDEO
This song is such a bop no cap
Been a processor for 12 years this video is rad
i don't understand where the air present in the mold before injections goes when the melted plastic fills it, i would love to know more about that. (if it works thanks to some microns sized vents does it shows on the final produsct and how are those metal molds made ?)
@@knoqx79 sure. There are vents in the mold that allow the gasses/air to escape
@@MmmChipotle so smaler holes than a particle of plastic right ?
@@knoqx79 yes. Once the mold is under tonnage, also depending on the type of vent, there should be no flash or shorts by the vent. Just a parting line. We have metal tool shops at each plant that have cnc and edm equipment that design and create molds.
@@MmmChipotle thank you for your answers, what is the cost of production of one of those mold for (let's say to cast/mold model kit grids for exemple) could i order one from a 3D file ?
How does the motor affect the movement of the clamp mechanism?

why is this music such a bop

Injection moulding learning Idea super🎉🎉🎉
What is name of application you used
Please tell me Which software is use to make this video.?
name of software is malviya
Usually the feed zone is longer than the transition zone because the screw moves back and you dont want to dose into the transition zone. Good animation anyways.

Basically IM is a spin-off of metal casting that goes back centuries. Making that mold has to be expensive.
We used this in my school 😂😂
very good, now i'm understand clearly, thanks

In my country, Iraq, the most important thing is that the machine is fast
I worked tool and die 30 years
Very basic & not a satisfactory mould design as there are no return pins for the ejector plates. You should nor rely on springs except to shake the product off. Return pins (4 off) must touch the cavity plate to reset the ejector pins. in some cases it is necessary to add early return devices so ejector pins do not damage sliders i realise in your example there is not any sliders. MERRILEES MOULD DESIGN.
Holy smokes dude this is just an animation for educational purposes 😂😂 chill out
