I competed against the Connecticut hurricanes, when I was a member of the Long Island Sunrisers from 1964 to 1968. They were one of the best competitors competed against us. Always had much respect for them and I knew quite a few of them members personally. This clip, those snare drum sound like cardboard boxes. They no longer have a real snare drum sound like from the old school days. Plus these organizations today should start buying American-made instruments, were used to by Ludwig, slingerland, Gretsch. They all used to make great quality and great sounding drums. I purchased a swing on snare drum in August of 1958. The date is stamped inside the drum when you look through the air vent you can see the date. It looks and sounds like the day I bought it. Today is February 4th 2023. Thank you for posting this clip. And I apologize if I offended anybody.
