It’s crazy how downplayed period pain is when many women use devices like this to RELIEVE their cramps. As someone who owns a tens unit, it’s surface level pain compared to the deep throbbing constant pain of menstruation, let alone accompanied by the huge list of other symptoms we experience
ikr... it's so specific that not even all women understand e/o's pains. my mom thought i was faking when i first started my periods, cz she doesn't experience any pain or anything with hers. unless you go through even a little bit of it, you wont understand. throbbing, nausea, headaches, you want to sleep but also not, want to eat but also not, want to sit/stand but also not. these are just a bit of mine though, and i dont know what others are like, but it's trash for sure 😅. it's the nicest way i can put it.
to me it feels like my uterus is bouncing around and flipping upside down. like i can feel every movement. and when i first start my period i always puke all day and am on literal bed rest the first day of my period 😭😂
Mine frels like my lower abdoman is filled with needles that gets twisted around and then all of a sudden someone kicks those needles further in. And the only teeny tiny relief is laying Down on my side with a blanket covering my abdoman and back. Nothing Else helps😢
Jaxon yelling every time she asked him a question is so real 😭🤣 & to be fair, he was spot on with the pain, at least for me. It’s more internal & all around my stomach/back/lower half. it’s not always in one specific spot for me, and feels deeper than just surface level pain.
As a woman I want to try one of these period cramp simulators just to see how accurate they really are. And also to lowkey flex when I stand there, unfazed, while a guy keels over in pain looking up at me like I'm insane 😆
My best girlfriend uses one to relieve her muscle pains, and I tried it ... I was scared it would be even more painful than my period cramps but I think for most women it's going to be very very bearable... I kept increasing the intensity to see what would be unbearable out of curiosity 😅
And they still don't have to experience the general overall horrible mess of it all, the anxiety about bleeding through, or the period poos! (Also, the pain is often doubled up, back and front.) Oh, then go off and do your normal school / work like it's not happening (while it is happening for DAYS).
Idk, I kinda agree with Jaxon that the machine doesn't really feel the same as a period cramp. At least for me. For me the machine feels more like a sharp stabbing pain, but cramps feel like someone has your organs in a vice grip and is twisting them. I also feel like the machine is more of a surface pain while cramps feel more internal. Idk how else to describe it, especially since cramps and the machine are both contracting your muscles. To me one just feels more internal than the other, lol.
I've used tens machines for muscle pain & it's definitely different from period cramps. Very much surface vs internal, as well as the tens doesn't cause the burning pain of cramps (tho that might be my endometriosis).
Help they will never understand having a sneeze or cough WHILE on your period. Every cough is like a gamble of whether or not I'm gonna spew blood like a popping water balloon.
The fact that they haven’t experienced actual period pains yet they found this painful is crazy. Like imagine dealing with these cramps for 7 days straight along with joint and back pain headaches and nausea yet still having to show up to work or school or whatever just because according to some men it’s “not that big of a deal, stop being dramatic”
Not to mention a very severe but rare side effect of PMDD is wanting to take your own life. It was only something that was recognised a few years ago. Women have had to have hysterectomies over this.
The last time I had my period I was curled up on the sofa all day, crying and shout-sobbing "make it stop" because the pain meds didn't kick in all day. Ah yes, the beauty of endometriosis.
Shoot, I started at age 11, writhing in pain and wishing for death, just to make it stop. I just had surgery. My doc though Endo, too. Turns out I had lots of adhesions in my abdominal cavity and because of that, my ovaries were stuck to other organs. I will not be dealing with that pain any more. I'm 7 weeks post op and I'm astounded at how good I feel. I'm not constantly in pain. I've had very little pain, in fact. I have few memories that didn't include agony.
Same. And getting the diagnosis 25 years ago was nearly impossible! Vomiting from pain SUCKED. They were floored when I made it through 7 hours of childbirth without drugs. Endo was worse!
To make it more accurate, they need to have taken a laxative a couple hours prior and have a heated blanket wrapped around them and increase/decrease temperature in waves that correspond to the ramping up of the tens unit.
I don't think Jaxon was downplaying it, I think he was saying its actually worse cause its more internal and you feel it in your nerves - let's not get too sensitive about terms
LOL Jaxon no. Not like nerve pain. The uterus is a muscle that is literally cramping and contracting to push all the lining out. Now that I've had a natural birth I can say my cramps are, at times, on par with labor contractions. I'm pretty sure what it looked like you were feeling is exactly what I feel, sir.
Thank you Carter and Benison for at least acknowledging and understanding what women go through and how many weeks, months, and years we have to deal with it.

@@mirayoon1992 True, but stomach cramps and period cramps are two different things. Whenever I see one of these period pain videos, where it's all men hooked up to the machine, I always wonder why they don't have a woman try the machine in the end, so she can confirm how accurate the pain is
Exactly, I know women who claim to feel little, or no, discomfort, but others that suffer from Endometriosis adhesions who are effectively bed-riden during that time. A couple who didn't want any more kids and/ or who decided the pain was too much has hysterectomies! If the machine was set to reproduce the most extreme pain, the former would think it an exaggeration, but the latter might think it's about right.

I'm sorry, I am a woman. I've had a period since I was 12, I have been pregnant and given birth. Still never once craved pickles and ice cream. Not once.
I have painful cramps to the point where I’m in a ball clutching my stomach with both hands eyes closed clenching my teeth in pain so I’m still confused why periods are so downplayed
I think the best way to describe cramps is to say a stomach virus that doesn't go away for 2 days... And possibly without the throwing up. But you just feel miserable... The pain just hangs in there and it's generally a little lower than your stomach and also encompasses your back...
Barbie sister is tricky since she have more than one. Before, it was Skipper, Stacie, Kelly and there was baby Crissy. Now Kelly have been changed for Chelsea.
I never craved pickles and ice cream. Chocolate and Excedrin PM. My cramps always sent me to the floor. They were irregular and I had so many other issues. I would throw up. It was a mess (I am talking about the symptoms). GLAD IT'S OVER!!!
Its so bad! It comes on my 2nd day and I have to mentally prepare myself knowing it will come, like being rammed in the hole with an iron rod 😫 it comes and go like spasms... terrible
Do you actually think you are feeling what they are? The pain scale they are experiencing is way worse than most period cramps. Try getting 3rd degree burns and then say period cramps are bad
@@Deehydrate I was just making a funny comment on it. You didn’t need to be like that about it. I have severe cramps and thought it was funny how they reacted.
Don’t forget besides the pain, bloating and the magical poops. Hormone changes with bad mood swings. PMSING or PMDD symptoms. As well as wanting to eat tons of salty, chocolate, or caffeine things that make PMS worse. Plus nausea and I get dry heaves a few days before. Not to mention the TMI part of what comes out of your body once a month. Oh and did I mention hot flashes and or dizzy spells? Honestly being a woman can really suck and if I could convince my doctor I would’ve had a hysterectomy at age 19 or earlier, since I never wanted children in the first place. 🤦🏼♀️😐🤷🏼♀️
there's an eastern herb called dong quai.. kinda like ginseng for the double X chromosome folks.. really helps with the worst of those issues.. takes a couple months of use to kick in.. three weeks on, one week off.. yes, that week off. ETA.. that first cycle after starting can be fairly dramatic.
And then there's me with PCOS and Endo. I tried out a period simulator and on 10 it was a twinge compared to my monthly. Every month I spend 4-7 days in labor.

*Maniacal laugh* Now imagine what it's like to be in that much pain, having to go to work, hit the gym, study, do chores, etc. We have to go through that all the time!
I'm sorry, I am a woman. I've had a period since I was 12, I have been pregnant and given birth. Still never once craved pickles and ice cream. Not once.
Me neither, but this makes me wanna try it.
I craved pepperoni pizza and carrots 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Mine is noodles and chocolates 😅
Mine was steak. But... I actually had a medical condition that caused so many symptoms that I couldn't eat for two days at a time.
@@tricitymorte1 when I was going through menopause it switched to ravioli and sardines
Now imagine all that for a week but it varies so you never know what to expect 💀
Where's the numbness/ burning of limbs and vomiting?? 🤔🤣 They got off easy.
And the period poops!
BENNI is the most entertaining ray of sunshine ever
Colors of the rainbow....ROYGBIV😂
I love Carter and the silent 9 🤣🤣🤣
Next have Brian, Nick and Jack try this please 😊
I have painful cramps to the point where I’m in a ball clutching my stomach with both hands eyes closed clenching my teeth in pain so I’m still confused why periods are so downplayed
Pickles and Ice Cream are a pregnancy craving, chocolate is a typical period craving 🍫
not always
I've had 2 pregnancies and never craved it. I have craved it on my period.
depends on the person but generally
Watching this while on it is so satisfying 😊😂
Who the hell is eating pickles and ice cream together while on their period?🤮😂😂😂
I’m a 33 yo woman. I have no clue who eats pickles AND ice cream on their period.
I was thinking the same thing! 😂😂 Who, not me! 🤷🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️
Literally, why not just the ice cream 😂
@@MorganAllison-bt9rn lol exactly or even chocolate
I thought that was a pregnancy craving. My monthly craving is something sweet
I think the best way to describe cramps is to say a stomach virus that doesn't go away for 2 days... And possibly without the throwing up. But you just feel miserable... The pain just hangs in there and it's generally a little lower than your stomach and also encompasses your back...
After I tried it I put this machine on my son's mother and she said it's just surface pain it doesn't get deep where it really hurts.
Barbie sister is tricky since she have more than one. Before, it was Skipper, Stacie, Kelly and there was baby Crissy. Now Kelly have been changed for Chelsea.
3:15 - 7:20 - 10:53 - There are 206 bones in the human body.
207 when Deadpool watches Gossip Girl.
When Jaxon did the impression of pep pa cracked me up
Watching this while just starting my period is helping the pain so much xD
Answering questions? No, do house chores honey…
Or sit through a three hour lecture for school 😂😭
I never craved pickles and ice cream. Chocolate and Excedrin PM. My cramps always sent me to the floor. They were irregular and I had so many other issues. I would throw up. It was a mess (I am talking about the symptoms). GLAD IT'S OVER!!!
It’s so funny how they start screaming and yelling during cramps
Haha this was awesome next time should be the contraction simulator
Oh my- YES!! Q>Q TwT
Yessss
Who TF eats pickles & ice cream while on their period??? That is a PREGNANCY craving, that she doesn't know this is crazy
Missed the best part of period cramps… they didn’t get any butt cramps😂😂😂 I’m jealous. Let me get that machine 🤣
@@shonyarmstrong4801 What? Never in my 40 years have I had butt cramps.
Its so bad! It comes on my 2nd day and I have to mentally prepare myself knowing it will come, like being rammed in the hole with an iron rod 😫 it comes and go like spasms... terrible
@@jenjin9492 yesss!!! This is it!! I couldn’t describe the sensation in words lol
Watching this while actively cramping is hilarious. They were struggling so much and I’m sat here chilling 😂
I love how Jackson reacted to it is like hellllll😂😂❤❤❤
The worst thing to me is the jelly babies.
there's an eastern herb called dong quai.. kinda like ginseng for the double X chromosome folks.. really helps with the worst of those issues.. takes a couple months of use to kick in.. three weeks on, one week off.. yes, that week off.
ETA.. that first cycle after starting can be fairly dramatic.
Pickles and ice cream for period cravings? EXCUSE ME!? Is he having his period or is he pregnant? lmfao
I'd love to see the girlies do this too. This was hilarious.
Don't do it like this. Put them beside a woman experiencing the same thing
Or put a wet pad under them to feel the sticky feeling 😅😅😅 and they will know why women got irritated when they have period 😅😅😅
And then there's me with PCOS and Endo. I tried out a period simulator and on 10 it was a twinge compared to my monthly. Every month I spend 4-7 days in labor.
“I doubt this is what a period cramp feels like” and how the f*ck would you know what that feels like Jaxon lolll so many women have done this and say it replicates period pain/cramps pretty well so he should probably stop making such bold comments on things he will never experience
ikr!!! his attempt at mansplaining effing period cramps!!?!? like bruh, cmmmoooooonnn.
@@laelakarimiI mean I have had these wires on before, and they feel more like surface level pain than actual period cramps.
I never been more attracted to Jaxon. *WAIT!*
How old is Jaxon now? 😬🫢 20, _right?_ You know what-never mind. 😳🫣🙃 But, still… kid has to have a girlfriend-that smile… *Jayka,* hook your bestie, Jaxon, up-find him a good’un!
Girl same. But I just looked it up he’s 20 soon to be 21. Cause I was thinking the same thing and cause I just turned 22 and I was like please say he’s at least 20😂
he a good looking guy
@@taylorann9561 I’m in my mid-thirties…which is why I _definitely_ looked up his age before posting my comment…No, I don’t think it’s wrong, when someone is “of age”, of course, for appropriate’s sake, to compliment them when they have attractive qualities that _most_ women really like-I’m just not looking to be -called- a cougar lol 🤣🤣
I’m glad they experienced that, now they understand women more. Also, I’m happy Jaxon was able to answer as many questions as he did ✌️❤️
Just saying that’s more pregnancy cravings not really period cravings lol 😂
My period cravings are really weird like pregnancy cravings. Depends on the woman, I guess. ;)
@@bbcseriesfan that’s fair lol
The 9 is silent!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Carbie??😅
I like how all of them ended up liking the pickles and ice cream 😂
