  • Filmed by Ruthie (Ponytailruth) 6th March 2022. This is my very fair and honest review of our purchase from Pilkington Decorative Glass. We chose their new design called Casini which is supposedly graded as privacy level number 5. We have just replaced our previous decorative glass called Mayflower, which is graded as privacy level number 4. We find that our previous glass was far more opaque than the new one which does not make sense. I think it would be a good idea if Pilkington Glass made their own videos to help buyers make a more informed decision, as a brochure or website alone are not enough.

thank you for making this video. I found it very useful. It's very difficult to chose based on their brochure pictures.

Thank you so much. I liked the cassini but only wanted a level 3 for a kitchen window and back door. I'm going to go ahead and order it now I've seen your video!

Thank you. I am considering this glass for my front doors. I am interested to know if it is just as easy to see into the property if it is unlit?

Hello Elaine, We have really got used to the glass now and have learned to live with it as the design is so attractive. However, I just checked on a summer's evening and if you press your nose against the glass from outside, you can definitely see what is inside fairly clearly (without any lights on).
