Inspiring story about the seeds of greatness within a broken soul could grow with the support and encouragement from people who believed in her potential. Cruel, greedy and selfish family members reaped what they sowed. Thank you for a conclusion that seems real and authentic. Thank you for your unique and masterful storytelling. Watching from Atlanta, GA USA
This a very beautiful and heart filling story. I love how Nnenna never gave up. Parents should always study there children, every child is different. ❤❤❤❤
@maskiat6386 I thank God everything is for purpose, when you struggle you get strength 💪 and wisdom, wise. Sometimes we accept situations and God will intervine
Yes oh the stone the builder reject is now shining beautiful story We need a part 2 to know what became of her parents sister n brother n if she ever gotten married 👰 she needs a living husband to love her because she never loved by her family
I am so glad that she did well in spite of the challenges, sometimes all we need is that one good friend. The parents should consider themselves very fortunate that she at least took care of their immediate needs, while their other two golden children neglected them. Great lesson for parents, treat all your children equally.
Thank you so much for this wonderful story. Very well told. I am also from Africa and I had a similar childhood but for me it not from my real parents, it was from my forsto parents. I had to do all the work in the house, I did go to a good school but most of the time I went to school late. Thanks be to God the rejected stone is always the cornerstone today. I have to take care of everybody in my foster family. Their children none of them graduated from college and I have my doctor degree and living in the United States with my husband and children. I have all my children in America. Thanks be to God again and again. I have one regret, though my mother died before I met my husband.
Absolutely beautiful story. Parents should not compare their children. Look at the black sheep of the family she did well for herself. No need to build a house for her parents they should suffer like they made her suffer. At least she is still providing necessities like they did for her. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice story it not a story it’s fact of life some parent love some of their children but less care about some this is just one of the many examples may we take these lessons to heart because these are reality happening all over the world
Absolutely amazing story!! It shows that genuine godly love 😊means to forgive people that hurt you but you do NOT reward them or allow them access in your life to continue their abusive behavior. She did so wonderful forgiving her abusive parents, brother, and sister but limit access to her life forever!!❤
lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I love Nnena, she gave her parents exactly as they deserved. God you are good because I do believe that some people doesn’t deserve to be parents. Why give them children when all they do is abuse some of them? 😊. Very interesting and educational story 🙏🏿

This story brings to me the past memories. I was like her, went through similar treatments. Academically, I wasn't bright, even basic two and three letter words were challenging for me, I couldn't pronounce them. I was told I would amount to nothing in life. In short, I am now something else that those who saw my childhood wonder and in awe. I believe we shouldn't look down on a child because of his/her academic prowess or academic deficiency. Because we would never know what that child would become. If we can't encourage them, she shouldn't discourage them either. Thanks for writing this nice piece of story for the world to read.
Parents need to stop expecting their children to grow up and save them. Their job is to raise them and equipment them with the tools to succeed, and if the children have an abundance; it would be only proper that they help their parents out. It is not an obligation, and parents shouldn't burden their children that way. They are responsible for leaving a legacy for their children; not debt and they are not owed luxury at their children's expense. The mother of worse because the mother was to lazy to do housework and too busy gossiping, so it was easy to pass her responsibility on to a child who needed extra help. I'm glad even though Nnene could have, she didn't give them a luxurious lifestyle. I'm glad she distanced herself from all the toxicity.
This tales reminds me of what I went through when I was growing up. I was not the brightest candle in the class or at home, I was battling with my studies, though I never failed. As time went on and growing up at high school I spend most of time studying and eventually my grades improved and I started understanding that every is special, different, unique, gifted and God has a plan for everyone. I also learned to be patient with myself, accept my uniqueness and kept studying until I passed in highest grades I amazed everyone that looked down on me, calling me slow learner, stupid and I excelled in my studies even to today the one's mocked me, ridiculed me now respect me. I never gave up, but I believed and still believe in myself and the power that I possess inside of me.
Her parents and siblings were horrible..when will people learn is not everyone is academically inclined. Am glad she didn't build them a house let them live with the shame of not treating their daughter right. Never you look down on noone, because you can't see the future. Beautiful story ! Thank you ❤
This story makes me sad and happy I always say never treat people bad and never look down on any one cause you never know what your life will look like in the future.

🤫🙄🙄I had to control myself with my inner feelings. 😭😭😭😭It is very IMPORTANT to forgive those who have offended ..... But, we need to be very careful with the SNAKE. Lesson learned. The daughter in - law could have made a difference though if she was willing to. WOW!!!! The parents were wrong, especially the mother. I wouldn' t TRUST my siblings. BUT I would bring the parents to live close to me in order to provide for them since they were getting old. It happened a lot in some families in my country. 🤔😭😭😭😭😭Uhmmmm!!!!
