I didn't even hear Brady's speech, but when you hear his teammates talk about it...goosebumps.
Yeah, me, too. And they all remember so much of what he said. He infused it into their souls.
He fed them lots of W's I'm sure.
Whoever said he sounded like a general put it perfectly, he was talking about honor, family, legacy.
The players were probably mentally prepared to die on the field, they were on edge and at their best, that is the final proof some people needed about Brady's leadership.
Leaving NE was painful but it allowed the world to see the type of leader and person he is. Even the Kellerman's of the world bowed the knee.
Listen to 2014 Superbowl Patriots vs Seahawks micd up - there is a video on youtube about 50 minutes long SB49 micd up. Somewhere around the end of first 5 -6 minutes of the micd up Brady has like a 20 sec part of the speach about honour talking to his Patriots teammates with a passionate voice. It must have been similar. Same topic/theme pretty much. Go check it out. First 4 to 6 minutes of the video pre game you will hear Brady say it.

The Penalty actually made it even better. Had he did that and just walked away it would have just been one more moment in a sea of awesomeness. But because they actually stopped the game and called a penalty on it, it brought more attention to it and made it even more epic. I'm sure Hill would've rather them just let that go and move on, lol.

If Brady and the Bucs make it to another Superbowl, I wonder what that would do to Belichicks legacy. The man threw 5700 yards and 50 TD's last season, if he had an off/preseason it's very possible he might have won MVP and the Superbowl.
I watched Brady playing in a Superbowl with my young son, I also watched Brady in a Superbowl with my dad when I was real young. I can't wait to watch him win a Superbowl with my grandson.

For anyone that keeps clamoring for Brady's halftime speech, the video clearly says there were no cameras or mics at the time. It's a speech that will be passed on as legend. I kind of like it that way.
Love how the Super Bowl was so one-sided that the editors really had to work to stretch this video to only just over half the length of some of the others.

Amazing how White said Brady only gave one speech all season; that one. The oldest, most accomplished guy on the team only gave one speech. And apparently it was memorable.
Man I really wish we could hear a recording of Tom’s locker room speech before the game but I totally understand that that was a moment for the team and no one else. So as much as I would love to hear that, I understand why we never will.

The Brady speech and the effect it had on the whole team is why Brady is the best QB ever and right now. Brady's influence goes way beyond the play on the field and people underestimates that.

That view of Gronk's second TD at 9:52! Brady goes through his first read, goes through his second read, then the split second Gronk works back inside he turns around and there is a laser beam headed straight towards his chest. Just incredible QB play.

I am 50 years old and as an Eagles fan: that was the most painful loss in history of watching the team…Tampa beating the Saints this year in the playoffs made me think of how they conquered the Eagles and then went in to win the super bowl.

The Bucs run was immense. I mean all the "experts " and flat out bias against the bucs and Brady made for a story for the football ages, no preseason, no contact basically, to gel and then walk through the devil's den of opponents was breathtaking, I'm not a theatrical guy, but that team moved me. Wow.
Great docu series. I think a great bonus ep would be a montage of Ryan Succop hitting all the field goals / extra points this year. He was incredible this year and deserves some spotlight
There's just something different about a 43 yr old who has won 6 rings already giving you a speech about greatness vs a younger guy or someone who has only won it once. With those guys its just talk, but when Brady says it you believe it, it becomes fact. There's a reason they all came back. Brady promised them greatness and they are hungry for it.

I’ve heard Brady speak and not just about football but life and gosh I could listen to him FOREVER
Lavonte David, Mike Evans, William Gholston, Cameron Brate, Ali Marpet, and Donovan Smith. I mention those six players because they are the longest tenured and have played their entire careers in Tampa through some really tough years up to 2020 so that Super Bowl LV victory was well deserved and long over due for them.
