I'm surprised nobody has yet tried to pick out all of the different pieces of Halo music I used! :p I drew from every game except H4 & ODST. Had a lot of fun splitting & mixing the 15 years of variation in the main theme.

I get what you are doing with the rap around battle and its cool that its suppose to look like a halo ring unless thats a accident in which case its one of the best accidents Ive ever seen

Ya know, I tried swinging it around when I first got it ('cuz it has pretty good motion-activated lights & sounds!) but I quickly realized it's a positively terrible weapon in pre-26th century form! You get no control off the handle and this design can only physically work for combat if the blade has almost no mass.

I assume the number 117 is a reference to Halo or Bungie/343. I know Bungie likes 7s, not sure about any other numbers though.

One thing I need to ask. when building original creations, either for Halo or your Lego City, do you "contaminate" a Lego creation with Mega parts and vice versa? Or no matter what, even if it would be convenient or look cool, no bricks from different brands will ever be mixed?
I believe he abstains from using anything but official parts in his builds, lego or Mega Construx, and that he doesn't use illegal techniques either.

This is the most amazing set up I've ever seen
in my opinion, the room is pretty great. the only thing i feel is missing are replica helmets of certain spartains, or Sangheili warriors, but those are expensive, so maybe one or two

JANGBRiCKS Maybe you should link to your LEGO FAQ section, or make a dedicated Halo one... A clear example of 'productive' feedback. And to give you my own - I'm not into Halo (be it game, Mega Bloks or anything else), but your 'shrine' is amazing! Taste differs from person to person (as it should), but your passion is clearly on display in that room, not just Halo.

you should use one of those instead of the Hasbro sword imo. i have one and i can guarantee it is an awesome display piece.
Yep I have one of those. I'm using its wall mount to hold up the Hasbro sword :)

Omega Fett trust me its worth it. if i had any complaints it is that the swords blade is kinda thin so when holding or swinging it the blade tends to wobble. i would not recommend it for any sword fights (but to be fair i would not recommend any swords for that xD)
however as a display piece or cosplay it is perfect. might want to get a different display plaque though as the one it comes with is quite small (but thats just a personal opinion)

I hope to get a place of my own one day for the very purpose of shaping the spaces to my own preferences. For now, I'll just have to cope with some mild envy. :P I hope to one day have a collection of such size, too.
I must admit, it's difficult not having a job yet(I'm waiting until I get out of school so as to not overwhelm myself), because I find myself missing out on so much, and simply _hoping_ that these things are still around when my time comes.

this is awesome! I've just gotten back into Halo a few years ago(from about 8-10 years of not having an xbox...) and I'm getting started on my own halo merch collection :)
I've got a question: how do you feel about how 343 does halo? personally I think it feels a lot like it did when I was younger and played and I think that if people would stop trying to find differences between halo ce, 2, 3, and halo 4 and 5 I think they wouldn't have nearly as many complaints. but again I'd like to know what you think about it Jang :)
I'm enjoying WZFF as much as I have any other Halo experience to date and I loved both Spartan Ops and BTB in H4. I didn't like the campaign graphics engine settings on Bungie's last Halo, but H3's campaign was my favorite to date by far. In all, I feel no need to take a stubborn side for or against either 343 or Bungie. After all, I'm enjoying both today, I'm an avid Destiny player too!
I wish I had a collection like that. I've been playing Halo since I was 5 when H2 came out I've been a huge fan of the series since (even tho I really don't h 5).

So envious, Jang. I've always loved the Halo universe, but Mega Blocks' sets never really gained my interest. I've always viewed Mega Blocks as cheap plastic bricks, although I will certainly credit them and say they make some seriously amazing sets. I personally collect exclusively and specifically Star Wars LEGO models, and I hope one day to have a room in my (future) household dedicated to my Star Wars models just like you have done with your 117 room!
I don't really like mega blocks/construx, however the figures look really really cool and have more articulation than Lego figures do.
