Air Conditioner not blowing cold air

In this video I attend a Service Call and come across an Actron Air Air Conditioner displaying an E6 Fault. It turns out to be a gas leak that caused the fault. Watch on as I find the leak and get this unit back up and running.
R410a Refrigerant.

Nice work mate ! Close liquid tap , open vapour and invert cylinder and you should get the last little bit out of the cylinder

Never saw that Solenoid setup before I was here thinking why is it tripping like that if he weighed in factory charge , probably a bad pressure switch but then you said that's how the unit works that threw me off lol
Yeah mate that’s definitely how they work. This particular unit isn’t an ‘Inverter’ as such, instead Actron Air use a Copeland Digital Scroll Compressor which apparently has its benefits. All day long these things make that noise and basically it’s just a solenoid valve taking the load off the compressor every few seconds. I can’t say I’m a massive fan of it but yeah that explains the noise 😂

Hi Mitch....love ur videos....i was hoping to pick your brain a bit.....i just had the same Esp platinum system installed.....the unit is much quiter than i expected......my issue is the vibration of the pipes inside the wall that create a buzzing/humming sound which can be felt/heard inside when the compressor kicks in.....have you ever come across this??....any recommendations on a solution to consider???
That’s normal when the compressor starts
I have actron cooling. The condenser is not turning on. The fan is working I have checked all 3 capacitors all perfect. Would love your help. Happy to pay if you are in Melbourne

If you turn the Air Conditioner on, and walk outside and see the fans running but the compressor is not then I would be extremely confident that the soft starter is at fault. Actrons are well known for this fault unfortunately. However it’s an easy fix.

I have made some progress as I checked the soft starter with multimeter neutral to Run winding and Neutral to Start winding it's showing OL
Does that mean it's the Soft Starter? Thanks heaps in advance.
@@ashwinkumar3727 You need to test the voltage in and out of the soft starter mate. Basically If there is power going into the soft starter but not coming out of the soft starter to the compressor then it’s the soft starter that’s faulty. Good luck
R410 charging is a liquid, not a gas
Hey Mate mine comes up with E9 code and when its too hot outside its doesnt turn the compressor on any ideas??
