I think when most of us ordinary people see people do amazing things like this, we fail to really grasp all the crashes and injuries suffered along the way. Seeing that crash in the intro and realizing that *this guy got back on his bike and tried again* (even if it was weeks later because there had to be gnarly injuries there) just blows my mind. That level of commitment is so impressive.
