For the "Escort Strider" mission I used dual P19MLT-04 e dual WS-5001 with EL-TL-11 Fortaleza legs and VE-21B FCS, it gave me a mindless S rank with 0 repair kits used.
I used a similar setup and went through that mission easily the first time around, but for whatever reason I can barely get an A now, taking too many of their missile hits. IDK if they changed something in the patch, or maybe I changed out a part accidentally or something to nerf my missile lock on range.
I'm surprised at how easy some of these S ranks were for me. The biggest hurdle for some was finishing the mission without dying, and I got the S as soon as I did. Was that way for both Ayre and Allguazu
I hope we get an update that adds a new, harder tier of missions that are an actual challenge to S-Rank. Combat logs are awarded by Allmind, so it makes sense that you don't get a combat log for killing the invisible mech in the first mission. Edit: lol someone pointed it out in chat just after I wrote this
I never played Project Wingman myself but Iguazu reminds me the Crimson 1 though their motivation are quite different. Dude hate you so much he nuked his home just to kill you and he failed. Another dude envies you so much and become an AI just trying to kill you.
Pretty much S-ranked all missions with the same build. Biped with dual gatling guns and stun needle launchers. Only for a very few missions (two or three) did I have to change loadout.
If you can stun with the wheels (with a Zim double tap, for example), they die instantly to a kick. I still think flame throwers are better, but that's another way to deal with them
Last patch broke melee, alot of melee weapons randomly don't have any blade/attack animations/dmg but you still do the AC animations. Like with the Coral Oscillator your AC stands in place moving his arm but no red beam
Noticed that, really pissed me off against Snail Balteus since I would've dealt some serious damage but I died because my first plasma thrower strike completely refunded. Utter disbelief.
Nerfed my build to hell... If they just did Elden Ring and seperated PVP Nerfs verse PVE I would be fine... hope when they do they de-patch the PVE nerfs for weapons and keep em for PVP...
I’m stuck on the Autonomous jet pack AC. To see him vanquished with ease is such a heartwarming scene to see 🥹🥹🥹 Can’t wait to get to that level of expertise in this game.
Hell yeah it’s 5:27 am and just got done with my final missions, survey the uninhabited city twice😂 last bosses were easier than some of these missions to s rank I swear on god
28:45 why worry about overburdening if it’s such a small amount? It hardly makes ANY difference to your boost speed, QB reloads, ABs etc if it’s under about 1200 pounds overburdened.
Attack the dam, got this S rank pretty easily. With busted builds you can kill Iguazu super fast. I'm having more trouble with the defend x missions. Surprised Vat got it that fast. I thought you couldn't get that damaged.
The alternate dam mission was such a pain in my ass my first time through. I was using the pile bunker and dual zimms and I could demolish their acs meters but I would always missed my charged pile bunker hit
It killed me seeing him split up his missile salvos during Coral Export Denial. One missile salvo = one transport ship killed. Ignore the grunts unless you have free time.
Just 100% AC6 today, the "true ending" got me thinking if Fromsoft actually went with this as cannon ending, the next AC's story/gameplay would be pretty different assuming everyone is like coral-human hybrid now. Anyways... "We are looking forward for more prepare to cry videos from you, ALLMIND anticipates great things from you VV." 🤖
you sure did it way more gracefully than me, my guy😂 maybe they patched it or will patch it in the future, but dual shotgun and bazooka on two medium legs broke the game for me, once I learned that build, I just S-Ranked the entire game in one day, with two or three tries max on end game bosses, the stagger damage was completely through the roof... I felt like the god of rubicon but at the same time I felt like I was almost cheating lol
I don't know how well it will work for you. But me and a friend of mine found out for this mission. Especially, it would be a good idea to go and all missile build missile Verizon. Cause there are armed weapons, which will deploy several small missiles and then pair of backgrounds, which will lower just. Upload a missile Verizon with use the set. Which far is 10 missiles simultaneously for backgrounds for both sides? And it does pretty quick work for those machines.
I did, then accidentally nuked him with my build trying to get the hopping shield-whip mechs, killed all three, Iguana and both mechs I was aiming for...
I platinumed the game a few days ago. By far my least favorite missions to S were Escort the Strider and the defense/hacking missions( regain control of the xylem had me pulling my hair out). Which ones gave you most trouble?
Fighting IguanaMind without going Tank Mode... If my hardlock wasn't occasionally deactivating or changing targets due to minor R Stick drift from heavy use of it I probably wouldn't have half the issues that fight gave me... the ten MT's with High Stagger builds and decent enough zigzagging to ensure they take the hits for IguanaMind makes the fight a lot harder for upclose melee submachine gun builds...
The fight of Sulla is glitchy I believe because is was hidden in Xylem? In the description, it's written, if I remember correctly, that no one knew where he was hiding. And he is unlock in the arena in the same chapter where you get for the first time this kind of glitchy sound, in Xylem. I always though it was a lore info about him. I may completly be wrong xD
You can't let the hacking progress reach 50% and when you go outside kill the 2 sniper stealth mechs and try to make the melee ones attack Fagauzu and just watch, then murk him when he kills them.
hey vaati - how did you get that yellow to red gradient on your tetrapod? The infinite flight one? I've been trying to get a similar effect for a while
My only real complaint with the game is that requirements for S-Rank are kind of all over the place. Some missions have pretty obvious requirements while others it seems like speed is the defining factor for S Rank or damage taken. Heck, there's one mission where the only requirement for S-Rank is to simply beat it.
1:34:30 those misses have their place due to poor aiming (enemy have to be at the center of your screen and you need to wait like 0.3 seconds to actually fire at them) and hardlock (no comments here, all that extra aiming stats on those AC hands are going nowhere); I am using less effective AC hands for blasting with shotguns and same FCS, yet I hit my targets like 10 times more often.

just not on those flying LC with their bullshit flare spams
1:51:20 I know it's allmind that made it this way but the fact that Vaati's AC has a flamethrower and the entire facility is on fire really does make it seem like it was just his AC to blame for how badly arquebus' situation is deteriorating
33:05 gets me. *Dies* "no wonder Michigan took a shine to you"
I rarely comment on anyone’s channel, but appreciate your armored core vids. If it wasn’t for you, I was going to return this game after 2 days.
I S ranked the entire game, I had no clue that killing the Pinecone C weapons was an option in the last fight.
That 1hp at 4:21
Can't wait to see videos about this game on your main channel.
Combat logs are awarded by Allmind, so it makes sense that you don't get a combat log for killing the invisible mech in the first mission.
Edit: lol someone pointed it out in chat just after I wrote this
Invisible Mech... Where is new hunting target?
If Volta had 2x Zims and Songbirds, that would be the end of the game. There'd be no further progression.
The flamethrower is a hard counter to literally everything
Try fighting the HC shield, Ayre, or Allmind with flamethrower
@@KABLAMMATS yeah that’s how I S ranked them easy
@@DerpyBerbWhat does the flamethrower do for effect?
@@vash_the_stampede6570 melts their HP bar.
Mad Stomp Ortus kicking the shit out of g4 and g5 is my new headcanon
Man, you pilot gracefully. Kudos, raven.
2 minutes ago? That’s more then 1 minute ago
so quirky and funny 🤓
That's almost 5 minutes!
Hey y’all. Am I crazy or did we miss “Defend the Dam Complex.” Skipped thru the vid but I can’t find it anywhere
I’m stuck on the Autonomous jet pack AC. To see him vanquished with ease is such a heartwarming scene to see 🥹🥹🥹
Can’t wait to get to that level of expertise in this game.
Absolutely cannot wait the the Prepare to Cry video for AC6
"Volta is tanky as hell". You don't say.
Protect the Strider gave me nightmares until I just used an all missile build and I breezed through it. Missiles are that mission's hard counter
You put some much time and effort into the videos. Keep it up u deserve more subs for sure
I need some armored lore in my life
You forgot the defend the dam mission where you fight branch.
The sabotage mission in the ship I s-ranked it with a reverse joint ac
Hell yeah it’s 5:27 am and just got done with my final missions, survey the uninhabited city twice😂 last bosses were easier than some of these missions to s rank I swear on god
28:45 why worry about overburdening if it’s such a small amount? It hardly makes ANY difference to your boost speed, QB reloads, ABs etc if it’s under about 1200 pounds overburdened.
For S-ranking all missions you should have got all parts necessary for a 9 Ball cosplay.
Escorting the weaponized mining ship was pain even when not trying to S rank it
More bar more gooder, that is actually really good(er) to know.
Yep, that Redgun in attack the dam complex is super tanky.
I was using the pile bunker and dual zimms and I could demolish their acs meters but I would always missed my charged pile bunker hit
volta was the second hardest fight for me right under the ng++ last boss lol
You can dodge the claw attacks of iguana/all mind by flying up the giant energy blades I have no idea how to dodge hope this helps
M
I don't know how well it will work for you. But me and a friend of mine found out for this mission. Especially, it would be a good idea to go and all missile build missile Verizon. Cause there are armed weapons, which will deploy several small missiles and then pair of backgrounds, which will lower just. Upload a missile Verizon with use the set. Which far is 10 missiles simultaneously for backgrounds for both sides? And it does pretty quick work for those machines.
Escort the weaponized mining ship is pretty easy if you use grenade launchers to kill two wheels with one hit.
I had no idea you could truce with Iguana during Secret hack
I'm working on s ranking all the missions and when I did allminds boss fight the s rank had me crying at 3 am
I've done "Stop the Secret Data Breach" over 50 times now. I'm not even having fun anymore. This S rank system is beyond heinous.
I've been trying to get a similar effect for a while
Vaati and chat's short conversation about Kate Markson makes me realize something. Why in the world did Allmind choose a human name for a callsign?
Went from mad stomp to infuriated step
PB and chain saw are answer to everything
Even just a cool head peice would have been perfect for S ranking all missions.
DLC might add more stuff... i hope it does
Says the tank is tanky as hell. I found that funny 😂
I feel like I'm using the saw wrong, it's not that useful for me. It doesn't delete health bars like it does for vaati lol
