So cute! You can always make some accessories for the dog if you're looking for ideas to continue. A food and water bowl, a leash hanging from the wall, a ball or bone, maybe a woven rug or dog bed for him to lounge on in the house. A package of dog biscuits or a bag of dog food.
A shelf with plates and knobs to hang mugs on, curtains, a magical windchime, some herbs hanging near the stove to dry, a rack for pots and pans. And many more....
One thing to add to the kitchen is just some small shelves over the sink to hold a plate and a cup? This project is so much fun to watch come together!
The sink and doghouse are fun additions to the project! I agree with some other comments: a small winged dragon in the doghouse would be perfect. Perhaps curled up sleeping? And adding landscaping to the outside would add to the fairytale theme - overgrown flowering vines, nests, a tiny elf or flying creature to discover peeking out of the foliage. Also, some accessories inside, perhaps made of paper, like dishes or knitting, so it feels homier. Really enjoyed the video; made me wish I had juice boxes to work on.
The Q-tip faucet is BRILLIANT! I slaved over polymer clay to make the outside faucet on my last mini. I learn so much from you every time I watch. Thank you, dear lady.
Glad it was helpful! I always tend to lean towards paper crafting before I try polymer clay lol! I think each artist starts to 'vibe' with certain materials as they go along😄
Both projects are just so adorable and well made. Really nice work, Ara! Now you just need some tiny bottles to go in that little sink cabinet! Wonderful!
I have an idea for the sink drain (for your next sink). I've done this in the past and it works well. Straighten out a small paperclip and heat up the end with a match or lighter. Gently push the hot end into the sink where you want the drain. Push a scrapbooking eyelet through the hole and there's your drain. 😊
@@BentleyHouseMinis you're welcome! When you make a hole in the sink, if it's not big enough for the eyelet, it's easy to make it slightly larger by simply reheating the paperclip 😊
Love love love this entire project....but the dog house! Oh em gee! It is too cute for words! The little Westie is a perfect inhabitant (and he reminds me of Wee Jock, from the program Hamish MacBeth) When you placed him in the scene I could hear the skirl of the 'pipes and the lilt of Gaelic in the air.
Two smashing ideas Ara - the sink particularly was well thought out! There’s not much more room in the house but a fireplace/inglenook might be appropriate. (Or even an outhouse: separate addition!)
Thanks for this very cool tutorial, Ara. I think both of your projects came out adorable. I'm loving the whole recycling aspect of this entire process. Use what you have on hand can never be too overstated. You have no choice but to be creative and there's nothing wrong with that. ;) You're awesome as always. 😘
A couple of thoughts...put something on the side of the sink that would hold a small dish towel, and a little doggie food and water bowl would be a nice addition to the dog house. Maybe no wings on the dog. He could be like a familiar animal. He will be able to disappear and then reappear in another place without "flying with wings". Just add a touch of sparkle to him. :-) I do love your work! Amazing talent! :-)
Love, love, love these 2 projects. Using recycled materials is a bonus. The sink reminds me of the abandoned coffee shop. By the way I never mentioned this before the story of the abandoned coffee always bring a tear to my eyes. You are a very talented writer. Will there be a story to this house? I wonder!👏👏👏👏👍👍🇳🇿

Dog house looks like something straight out of fortnite
I'm curious, why do you use the cutter that you have, in your videos instead of regular scissors?
Mostly likely because I have it sitting next to me all the time. But I am sure scissors would work here too. Mine are pretty dull though so I need to get them sharpened! lol!
