Dear Pradeep, This technique is being practiced since long time and very popular among anesthesiologists. I am not aware who had described it first. I never found any literature on that. Recently, Dr. Diwan and colleagues have published few articles on PNS guided sacral plexus block using this modified technique. You can go through these articles and quote as reference if needed: 1. jaccr.com/combined-lumbar-and-sacral-plexus-block-in-geriatric-high-risk-patients-undergoing-an-awake-repair-of-fracture-intertrochanteric-of-femur/ 2. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8822379/

@@DrTuhinM Thank you very much Sir
Sir can we give blocks via Taha's approach, Bendsten approach, Casal's approach and PIP block in prone position too??
Prone positioning is difficult specially in trauma patients. Also it needs patients cooperation and extra staff. Thats why we avoid it.
@@DrTuhinM Ok sir
Thank you sir
