Mwah, mwah, MWAH. the animation is so smooth I can taste it. And the characters are memorable, I’m not forgetting their names at all! The story is great. And I can tell you put a lot of effort into this ❤
5/5 Stars: Amazing Plot with Amazing Balance! (I know this isn’t a review section but whatever) Amazing work! The introduction of all the characters were smooth. Even though it was “Oh hey, Yu and Miko are dating,” there wasn’t an established connection between the characters and audience to be able to be effective enough as conflict. Then, the rising action was well thought as using Kaguya and Miyuki get together instead of using “Oh hey, the main characters get together, the end!” Then, Miko creating conflict by separating Miyuki and Kaguya, also establishing herself as the antagonist of the story. This is what I believe being a “Man vs. Man” conflict. Then the conflict was slowly falling, but not enough to start the falling action. Kaguya and Miyuki were slowly building up a relationship again, not just a couple relationship. When they got together again, the main story ended transitioning into the falling action. When Miko tried to sabotage Kaguya and Miyuki’s relationship, it wasn’t conflict because both the audience and characters knew Miko was attempting to deceive them, thus not creating another conflict. When Miko, the antagonist, was taken away, the exposition takes place and ends the story. The story also used a fair amount of side character use to move the plot forward. My only complaint on character usage is that some people may forget about Yu when he reappears at the end of the story, as I was before Yu started mentioning stuff about Miko. More characters would have been nice, but it was good choice to have only that many characters because I personally don’t see another usage for any other characters. Definitely one of the best gacha movies out there! Despite Yu’s reappearance, it’s still 5/5 stars!
