Hi from Lancaster, PA. We learned an odd but dangerous technique in the 80's. After we stamped ( with versa-mariiI think) we used a hurricane lantern, made it smoke and held a card over. The smoke made black soot on the paper. ( had to be careful not to burn the paper). I hope I remember it correctly. 😊😊😊😊
