There is absolutely nothing wrong with Georgia other than the EU and US CIA backed NED NGOs are funding, sponsoring and supporting a illegal overthrow of the Georgian government and the rejection of the democratically elected choice of the Georgian people. Its a copy and paste of the Maidan uprising that happened in Kiev in 2014. People in the west are so naive and propagandized. They forget that the CIA used to overthrow democratically elected governments carry out Coups around Latin America, Asia and Africa in the 1950s to the 1980s all the time from Chile, Indonesia, South Korea, Brazil, Philippines to Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Haiti to put friendly regimes in place. Now they are applying the same policies in Eastern Europe and in the Caucus.
I am sad that the world seems to have taken the peace and prosperity brought by democracy for granted, not even 100 years after people around the world united to defeat authoritarianism in WWII. You’d think that the huge difference in prosperity and human flourishing between the two Koreas would be the best example of why democracy is the best form of government we’ve found so far. I hope martial law is revoked and the rights of all Korean citizens are restored, including the right to hold former leaders to account for their corruption in the justice system.
I'm sorry but this comment's really pushing my buttons the wrong way. "I am sad that the world seems to have taken the peace and prosperity brought by democracy for granted" The 'world'? What world are you referring to? Most of the world is still undemocratic. They never took anything for granted. "100 years after people around the world united to defeat authoritarianism in WWII" 80 years not 100 and it wasn't against authoritarianism, it was against fascism, which is a strain of authoritarianism but they aren't the same thing. Fascism combined authoritarianism with militarism, social conservatism, ultranationalism, capitalism with state-interventionism, strong man leadership and an ideology which believes in a national social hierarchy (among other things). It's usually also territorially expansionist and seeks to invade other nations. WWII wasn't fought against authoritarianism because a lot of the allies at the time were authoritarian (the Soviet Union was an authoritarian dictatorship under Stalin, China was too but under Chiang, some of the other allies were monarchies, etc). "You’d think that the huge difference in prosperity and human flourishing between the two Koreas would be the best example of why democracy is the best form of government we’ve found so far." South Korea's economic boom started in the 80s when it was still a military dictatorship under Chun. Democratisation occurred after the economy flourished, not the other way around. South Korea isn't in this situation because the people could no longer see how great democracy is, it's in this situation because some guy appears to want to get out of the consequences of his own bad leadership. "I hope martial law is revoked and the rights of all Korean citizens are restored, including the right to hold former leaders to account for their corruption in the justice system. " That I agree with.
The United States has roughly two months left to head in a direction similar to the political situation South Korea faced two years ago. During the pandemic, South Koreans prioritized the economy over democracy in their voting decisions. Now, the current president is on the verge of being forced to resign just 2.5 years into his 5-year term due to his incompetence and autocratic behavior in governing the country.
Judging by the numerous comments from Russian trolls making fun of the South Korean president, Moscow c,early supports the opposition in South Korean parliament. I wonder why.

Exactly what he did in hindsight
Oh, is his wife the one who was caught on cam regarding a luxury bag?
Endless Lunacy
Definition of complete democracy from the western point of view 😮
He just want to have a Guinness record that he’s the first one who declare Marshall law in SK
i didnt expect this from South Korea
Brother tried to pull an Order 66
I pray for calm in SK right now .
Indeed. Nonsense.
Background music playing Shin Jung-Hyunn's song "Beautiful Rivers and Mountains".
Why is there "grave concern?" and what could this all lead to?
I am sad that the world seems to have taken the peace and prosperity brought by democracy for granted, not even 100 years after people around the world united to defeat authoritarianism in WWII. You’d think that the huge difference in prosperity and human flourishing between the two Koreas would be the best example of why democracy is the best form of government we’ve found so far.
I hope martial law is revoked and the rights of all Korean citizens are restored, including the right to hold former leaders to account for their corruption in the justice system.
I'm sorry but this comment's really pushing my buttons the wrong way.
"I am sad that the world seems to have taken the peace and prosperity brought by democracy for granted"
The 'world'? What world are you referring to? Most of the world is still undemocratic. They never took anything for granted.
"100 years after people around the world united to defeat authoritarianism in WWII"
80 years not 100 and it wasn't against authoritarianism, it was against fascism, which is a strain of authoritarianism but they aren't the same thing.
"You’d think that the huge difference in prosperity and human flourishing between the two Koreas would be the best example of why democracy is the best form of government we’ve found so far."
South Korea's economic boom started in the 80s when it was still a military dictatorship under Chun.
That I agree with.
Bro almost turned SK back to 1980s 💀
This is what american politics are doing to the world
The United States has roughly two months left to head in a direction similar to the political situation South Korea faced two years ago. During the pandemic, South Koreans prioritized the economy over democracy in their voting decisions. Now, the current president is on the verge of being forced to resign just 2.5 years into his 5-year term due to his incompetence and autocratic behavior in governing the country.
difference is that Trump isn't incompetent
@@pacepicante6952😂 He's the definition of incompetent
My American grandson is in the army and is deployed there,I hope he is safe!
Judging by the numerous comments from Russian trolls making fun of the South Korean president, Moscow c,early supports the opposition in South Korean parliament. I wonder why.
This is very dangerous. Remember when Russia said it needed to denazzify?
There is no martial law in Russia? Actually there is but only in 4 new regions
So I heard he is from conservative party. Why the people in the first place vote him to be president?
As a Korean, I'm so ashamed
Declaring martial law because of budget cuts is simply beyond my imagination.
I wil remove your freedom to protect it
What??
Will her beauty Kim Keon Hee declare herself empress of South Korea?
Breaking out the authoritarian playbook. Kim must be proud of his neighbor to the South.
Good evening Charon
Local police infiltrated a bit too much
the world thought the Korean war was declared again😮

Well, SK was always a Oligarchy...
It's very similar to the USA in that regard
@justinnamuco9096 Nah, the US is more corporatism whereas SK just has a handful of very powerful families.
@@walli6388 You need to stop watching "Dark Side of South Korea" videos on TH-cam lmao. I mean, it is true those conglomerates have lot of power, but westerners seem to think the whole country is just run by them. People need to be less dramatic.
@jaek8029 I didn't watch any of those videos. I also don't think the whole country is run by them. It is just a tad suspicious with how much bribery and criminal activity certain families can avoid jailtime
What is happening?
I can’t wrap my head around this. Thank goodness the interviewer asked what the forces were.
Communist forces, where? Are they in the room with us Mr. President?
There are North Korean sympathizers in the radical left of South Korean politics. That has always been the case.
The opposition party member, Lee Jae-myung, has already been charged with four criminal counts and is awaiting judgment on seven or eight additional charges related to his actions as mayor and governor. He is reportedly attempting to evade legal judgment by various means. Most Koreans believe he is clearly a criminal and unfit to govern the country
Ironic how he's the very person hes trying to protect the people from.
