The fact that I've only just discovered this is a sin by the TH-cam recommended system. This is probably one of the best videos I've ever watched. Holy shit.
I've only recently discovered that black MIDI is even a thing (it reminds me of oldschool Japanese MIDI animations but dialed up to 11) and I have to say, there aren't many words that can do this justice. Not only is this an amazing composition, but this isn't just a music piece, it's a full blown audio/visual experience. Between the melodies, the harmonies, the makeshift percussion and the intricate note art I had goosebumps almost the whole time. It's great not just as an homage to 'Pi' but as a piece of art in its own right, and I hope you can be proud of yourself for pulling it off! Thanks for sharing :)

The melody, the art, the key, they all work with each other to make this masterpiece even more of a masterpiece. And the various iterations of the main melody scattered throughout the rest of the MIDI make it just that much better. I do the panning because traditionally pianos have 88 keys, so when I zoom out to 128 keys people are like "wow wtf is happening"
