Of course it won't work for me if I try it on my own and it seems I am, again, the only damn person with this issue. I also put all of the files into the second zero hour folder, ran the launcher but nothing changes the game. I'm playing through Origin and nowhere did I find a solution on google.
yay i figured out how to make mine work...every time i clicked Launch, it immediately said "Could not launch (something like that)", but it works fine when i run as administrator

(The C&C Ultimate Collection) If I've understood the video correctly, the "Fixed Launchers" are only needed if you use the Contra launcher, but if you manually install it and also rename the 4x .ctr files to .big types as you did in the video, then the "Fixed Launchers" don't seem necessary. Again, that's if I've understood it correctly. I don't suppose you could clarify the above please?

+Tornike Dzadzua Your EA games folder is probably in: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command&Conquer Generals Zero Hour. That is default location where EA games should be installed. If you change your destination manually than you must find it.

+Donis 93 Most exciting thing in Contra is Challenge mode. Try to play Challenge on Hard difficulty, and you will be destroyed long before you reach any AI :) Good Luck!
I can just say that we dont have enough people in team to work on AI, but we do our best to improve a and looking for some help. Everyone that knows to script AI is welcome to our team and everybody who can help us, mappers, testers, modelers.... But AI is improved fro the last 008 FINAL version of Contra mod.

Manual installation does not work if you have multiple mods in the same folder.
is there a no-cd fix for this?
I have a no-cd for vanilla zerohour, but it does nto carry over to contra mod and asks for the cd.

Yes, you can by making a new clean c&c zero hour folder then place the contra in the new c&c zero hour folder then there you have it two mods
