I used to ride like this on roads back in the days, but after my first crash, I got so lucky it changed my mind, now I only speed like that on empty highways when I do feel like it, but mostly practicing Track days, way better, and way safer imo.
Btw this Yamaha engine crazy, the rev limiter looks like it will never hits, I used to race with people who had these, back in the days when I got my 636 Kawi Ninja.

This makes me miss my R6 so much, it was also blue like this. It was a track weapon, and when riding it full out my cheeks would sometimes cramp from smiling...sublime bike.

Aren’t the 2008 R6s and R6 very different
@@ezbg from my understanding the R6S is the previous year's body style. But with all of the new stuff that the new body style has. I may be wrong on that though.
The R6S was made from 2006-09. It is the same identical bike as the 03-04 R6. No changes what so ever that I’m aware of. 2005 R6 is also the same minus it has inverted forks, slightly bigger front rotor, brembo master cylinder, bigger throttle bodies +3hp, 120/70 front tire vs 120/60
Had an r6 from 04 (exact same as 06 R6s) that was fast. The newer ones feel soooo much better... I have an 09 now. What a bike....

No it won't. The roads there look in good condition overall. I ride in England. Our roads are a mess of potholes, sub flush drain covers. Gravel, oil, and filth. Yet I'm still here! You learn to deal with dangers like that. Im an expert at riding through potholes now!

If you cant tell by the engine note when you need to change gears then you really shouldnt be on a bike, but we know that dont we pal 😉
@@seriousorganisedcrimeagenc4757 to be fair, I listen to music when I ride, and my little 125 (plan to sit my A2 as I live in the UK and move to a 650) still has a factory exhaust on it, and is quite hard to hear, even without music due to the wind, so a shift indicator would be great for my bike
