Hi therr 👋. If you are referring to documents for Passport application, yes you can apply straight after your oath-taking and therefore need to present the documents. You only submit photocopies once they've seen the original.

Hi. You can apply for a new PH passport right after the ceremony. So make sure to bring your current passport (and photocopy), your NSO/PSA original and photocopy birth certificate and your Certificate of Naturalisation (just in case).

We have been married for 32 years and spend 6 months a year in UK and 6 months a year in the Philippines, which is a great life balance. Our daughters, both were born in the UK and holders of British passports. Neither hold Philippines passports. Our youngest daughter, 27, wants to have dual citizenship and get a Philippines passport as she maybe wants to move to the Philippines or like us spend 6 months a year in the Philippines and have bank accounts and a small business in the Philippines. Hi Dean! Yes those born of at least 1 Filipino parent can apply for Filipino citizenship by virtue of descent. I believe it is the same form in the link below but since it's not written in black and white in the Department of Foreign Affairs website, it would be best to contact them to enquire if it is the same list of requirements and process of application. Either visit the embassy on a weekday if you are in London or message them online. They are more responsive via their Twitter/X account. I hope this helps.

Hello 👋. Are you asking for passport application? Sa akin I used an old one. Same one I used for Dual Citizenship application po. Not sure if may new restrictions na. If ang sabi sayo na kumuha ng PSA was not specific to passport application baka general advise yun? You can message the embassy via FB or Twitter and just state that it was accepted for Dual citizenship application so dapat accept din nila for passport.

Agreed! Yes it's 5 talaga. I had the same problem. I ended up printing them myself with photopaper. 😁 Just followed a template fom Google regarding position of face etc.

Although some people still get away with using their PH passport for various purposes as long as it is not expired. For official government applications, this is will be considered fraudulent if British kana. You have to apply for a new one after oath taking for dual citizenship.

It just depends on you. 😊 If you have business to take care of in PH, it would be very complicated to move money around or do big transactions on a British passport only 😊.

I understand the Embassy does not have passport booklets readily available. Renewing a passport takes many months. Is this correct?

Yes. Just with the 3 Dual Citizenship Documents (na makukuha mo after oath taking), you can stay as long as you want sa PH even without Philippine passport.
