Thank you for these dope vids. Inspiring and amazing to watch. Somehow serene and high-octane at once. Y'all are beasts. Amazing skills - the physicality, the filmmaking, all of it.
Thanks for this. Nice memory refresher for me. In 2009, I climbed angels highway from sea level on a lone cycling circumnavigation of the 48 contiguous US. Starting from my massachusetts home, i Took the northern tier of the US through Rhode Island to Seattle, then down along the coast (101 was great until Santa rosa, then bikes prohibited) to about del ray marina ish on on the 25th day of august that year. Then turned around stopped at a jack in the box, and headed towards la cañada. I almost camped at a look out of LA for the night, but a motorcyclist told me a lot of bad shit happens there, so i went back to la cañada, slept in a park, and headed up the next morning. Got to cloud burst summit that evening, and was in Phelan the next morning. It was fun going downhill the other way at least. Lol. From there, I took the historic rt 66 (not the interstate) to 95 (searchlight) to Vegas and hoover dam. Then down to kingman Arizona along 66 again to wichitah falls texas, to new orleans to the Florida panhandle, then across all the eastern states except new hampshire and Maine. It was awesome adventure, and cbs in the angels mountains definitely sticks out among all the memories.
Hypnotizing. Mesmerizing. Inspiring. Thank you for not tarnishing this particular one with any additional audio. Music soundtracks can be great, and voice-overs are often invaluable. But in this case? You presented it perfectly. As always: Stay safe.
On a normal day in a normal time, you could've stopped at Newcomb's Ranch (9:17) for coffee and breakfast. RIP California small business. Excellent, bar-setting camera work.
The sound seems to also have improved on your videos as we can hear not only the free wheel distinctly but the whooshing sound of the dish wheels winding up under load.
Safa, you might have already ridden this one, but the road down from Mt. Pinos looks pretty fun. I think it's Cuddy Valley Rd. The top is around 8,000 ft and the parking lot at the bottom is around 5,000 ft.
I love passing cars while doing this. The look on faces is priceless 😲.🤭. Lol ( I love posting videos like this to my music channel, showcases a sport I love. I cycle daily🚴🏽♂️)
I completely stopped cycling during these fires. I'm just doing indoor workouts with a treadmill and weights. But hey, you drove by my neck of the woods in La Canada!
Just a question about driving and safety the yellow car ( ithink its a porsche) at 4:18, how can this person do that?? that looks so fucking dangerous especially because he overtook them at a bend and he cant see whats ahead If he met himself (a driver on the opposite side doing the same manevure as he did exactly) they would crash right? like badly
Must be nice to coast and maintain speed at 40mph on a 5% grade. I can’t even hit 35 with my wide tires and wind resistance on 10% grades and pedaling too
Fastest I have ever been in a descent was 84 km/h (~52 mph in your currency, I think). That was pretty scary because my bike felt quite nervous at that speed...
Your vids are amazing!!!! I've just gotten my first GoPro for my bike rides, and I was wondering, what do you use for the metrics overlay? Garmin Virb software, or something else?
Are you talking about frame or wheel size? 700c wheels are very common, but on smaller bikes 650b is used. There's lots of frame sizes to chose depending on height.
I’m not even a cyclist, but these videos are like meditation. Love em. Keep up the good work.
😊
I can only make 55km downhill. 70+ is too much for me. Its scary.

I did 45 the other day. Thought it was nuts!
The speed that Taylor’s heart rate drops when he is tucked is pretty impressive.
Thank you for blessing us with the overlays!
That freewheel sounds aggressive, I like it!

These guys were moving! Enjoyed the video angles & freehub sound!!
I love how when the Harley rider passed you, it still took like 5-6 more corners for them to disappear from sight.
